Anambra International Airport which is not up to One year seems to be the busiest in the entire region being the only airport in Southeast that works 24/7 day and night. The runway light which makes it possible for flights to land @night place the airport on advantage. The runway is equipped with CAT 2 lighting system. This implies that a plane can be guided by the light to land safely even in adverse weather conditions. The arrival and installation of the Avio-bridge ordered by the former governor "Willie Obiano" will further make the airport outstanding. 1 Like

Onuigbodabere: Don't mind the lying OP There is no runway lightning installed yet They don't even have any ILS system installed and flights into the airport operate strictly on Visual Flight Rules as against Instrument Flight Rules because there are no landing aids installed yet. Why he will lie that the airport operates at night I don't know why when this is obviously not the case. 2 Likes |
