Wow! This is what I call a classic example of a stone age dictatorship! Buhari and his minions in government don't even hide their evil deeds anymore.

BBC, Aljazeera, CNN have been reporting actiflvities of the taliban's over the years and nothing happened. This fine is a confirmation that the government knows something about the insecurity in this country that they are not telling us.

It is not enough to fine them, they must be shut down for trying to break up Nigeria.

Their story was an evil one and we don't need such information going out let us patronise our local news outlets instead.

Let me get this straight. As in NBC fine this companies because they air out how insecurity in this nation is wack and people are in fears everyday. Wey even one get mind threaten president. Are the bandits not taken over?. Why fine them when they report the truth. Omo nobody wants the truth again... It's a shame. May the souls of those who lost there lives rest in peace and those whose family where affected God gives them grace to bear it... It's painful.

DTSV and all other foreign television stations poison the minds of Nigerians against the government, we don't need them in the country.

Seriously I don't know what this administration want. I don't know. Perhaps they want even investigative journalists to be incompetent like them too.

Even Osama Bin Laden was interviewed by big time magazines and newspapers during his time. American government didn't trouble the publishers. He was interviewed right inside the cave he was hiding.

These politicians will come seeking the press to billow lies, but when the press has a genuine story they become angry or uncomfortable.

Was the publication true or false? This is what they should tell us. With the whole security apparatus and huge security vote at their disposal they can't locate bandits in hiding.

Both NIN, BVN and other sensitive things they collected is obviously another way to siphon money. What a shame.

BBC carries documentaries everywhere in d world, its an foreign international recognized media organization, without BBC, CNN or Aljeezera do u think u would know what is happening in the world? BBC can convert a few pounds to naira and even pay for all tv broadcasters that were sanctioned, U should be more afraid of ur govt for trying to hide d truth and silence people on what is the actual cause of this banditry which has been a mystery

Not fake. Confirm from their official social media pages. This govt wants to silence any information that exposes their incompetence.
That exposes their involvement in the business of banditry and terrorism. A Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a terrorist sympathizer.

Who is sponsoring and protecting the bandits? Why is the government offended that the activities of bandits are being exposed? Why is the govt chasing after media houses when it isn't chasing after bandits? A bandit in zamfara was turbanned, confessed to killings and kidnappings. Why is the govt not after him? , do you now see the sponsor of bandits and terrorism in Nigeria?
