am not surprised about this news. if we can be honest with ourselves, the Yoruba are betrayal. have we forget how the yoruba elders, went to aso rock to disgrace themselves when sanni abacha was about to execute diya and others. was the video tape that shows how diya wept and beg abacha for forgiveness and the yoruba elders's action a fiction when it was presented in the oputa panel. by the time this video tape is presented in the lawcourt, the fact that yorubas are betrayal and the problem of the south region will be vindicated. Al-mustapha is not insane and he knows what is taking about. he is one of the most intelligent and courageous soldiers in the nation today. i wonder why an average yoruba person will say one thing and do another thing(the presidential election is a confirmation to this fact). I WILL BE THE LAST PERSON ON EARTH TO VOUCH FOR THE IMPECCABLE CHARACTER OF BOLA IGE AND ADESANYA. let us do away with sentiment and parochialism and tell ourselves the gospel truth

"I am just the victim of Abiola's death, i choose to accept responsibility, but the irony is the same people who make Nigerians believe i killed Him(Abiola) are the killers themselves his supposed brothers, they will do everything in their disposal to make sure i dont come into power" - The paraphrased words of IBB

- IBB said this the same week atiku was chosen by the Ciroma Northern forum-2011
- Weeks later OBJ accused IBB for solely destroying Nigeria economy - 2011
- Weeks later Mr.FRESH AIR FART emerged Presidential Candidate of PDP -2011
- Weeks later IBB resigned from Public politic service - 2011

The points to ponder are:

1. Who was IBB refering to, you guess is as good as mine
2. Why would Northern forum Ciroma choose Atiku over IBB, was there something Mr.half-eye was trying to avoid as might be connected to the death of the RTD Yaradua ? your guess is as good aas mine
3. Why would Mr.I-dey-laugh Naija do everything in his disposal to retaining his stooge? your guess is as good as mine
4. What makes us think IBB will not do everything to ensure that the true culprits behind Abiola's death were exposed. recall he called them Abiola's brothers!

Fake Video Evidence- Almustapha is a mental case

Former chief security officer to then military dictator, Sanni Abacha, played a video in a Lagos court today
showing some Yoruba leaders leaving the meeting with former military head of state, General Abdusalam Abubakar.

The video footage which he claimed was shot by his personal bodyguard revealed the face of late Chief
Abraham Adesanya, Chief Bola Ige and the former secretary to the National Democratic Coalition, Ayo Opadokun at the Aso Rock Villa.

The video did not seem to contain the explosive material it promised journalists and lawyers who had waited anxiously for it today.

The video showed that late Abraham Adesanya and his entourage were confronted by journalists who asked
them about the details of the meeting with the head of state.

Adesanya responded to one of the questions that, ''no agreement that has been reached with the Head of state,
other than that he will consider the proposal before him."

Curiously, when asked about Abiola's death, Pa Adesanaya said ''I wouldn't know''

Also asked about the agitation for a Government of National Unity (GNU) and the actualization of June 12 mandate,
he replied that the GNU will still be there. "It is only that it won't be Abiola that will head the GNU.'' referring to the
winner of the June 12 elections that was annulled by the military in 1993.

When asked about replacement for Abiola, he said ''we are not proposing anybody yet.''

Adesanya delegation then asked journalists to leave when asked about the length of the planned talks
with the military authorities.

In his testimony, Al Mustapha said that the group's departure from the Villa was recorded on an ordinary camera by his bodyguard.

In today's dramatic testimony in open court, Mustapha made a series of claims in further testimony including
claims that former EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, tried to assassinate him after escorting him to Lagos. He
said he was saved by the Mike Okiro, the commissioner of police of Lagos at the time.

Mustapha also tendered a copy of the letter he wrote to Bola Ige in 2001 accusing Ige of complicity in Abiola's ''murder''.

The former CSO had made series of claims in the last three days , led in evidence by his lawyers claiming that Chief
Moshood Abiola, the winner of the June 12 presidential election was murdered by General Abdusalam. He also claimed
that some members of the opposition were complicit in Abiola's death.

Having read the testimonies, revelations and comments on the above subject matter, I would enjoin commentators to examine the issues at stake dispassionately irrespective of tribal and religious differences. Nigerians should ask Al-mustapha the following questions for posterity sake:

1. Who were the people he referred to as "They" that wanted to balance the equation or actually balanced the equation after the demise of Gen. Sanni Abacha by killing Chief M.K.O Abiola?
2. Who actually Killed Gen. Sanni Abacha? Was the motive for personal or national interest?
3. Who apart from Chiefs Abraham Adesanya and Bola Ige, were the other living Yoruba Leaders that were allegedly settled by Gen, Abdul Saalam?
4. Were the submissions of Yoruba Leaders on finding political solution to June 12 crisis instead of calling for war after the death of Chief MKO Abiola an act of nationalism or compromise?
5. Why did it take him almost a decade to divulge these pieces of information after the death of the two Yoruba Leaders-prime suspects?
6. What are the issues that will affect national interest that he had omitted in the course of the hearing?

Nigerians or commentators should be wary of their comments that border on tribal jingoism in order not to destroy the remaining but delicate and tiny chords that bind us as a nation. We should instead of attacking tribes, implore or engage in peacefully demonstration to force the government to do the following:
1. Probe the deaths of Gen. Sanni Abacha and Chief MKO Abiola
2. Invite the major players in June 12 election cancellation and subsequent political impasse during the time in the country, such people as Gen. IBB and Abdul Salam
3. Probe the circumstances of the death of President Umaru Yardua

Until these are done under National Reconciliation Panel, Nigerian peasants will just be fed with disparage information or revelations on our national political history and emergence. Summarily, poverty, ignorance, corruption and infrastructural decadence respect no tribal boundary. Most of our National or Sectional Leaders have one unity of purpose in perpetual political and economic domination of the larger Nigerian society. Not all Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba, Itsekiri etc are corrupt and not all are saints either. Meanwhile, let the revelations continue at the hearing for now without jumping into conclusion. At the end of the day truth shall prevail.

what quality does Mustapha possesed for him now to come out and tell us yoruba are betrayals! it is better for him to come out and tell us how many yorubas leaders they murdered during abachas regime?, he is only playing a mind game to destabilised the yorubas,we know him well enough, Pa Abraham Adesanya & Chief Bola Ige both of blessed memories are far beyond what people like Mustapha could label with such blattant lies.Mustapha is of questionable characters he doesnt posses the quality of a man who should be believed.Mind you Chief Bola Ige then was well applauded by the senate then when he was chosen as an at Atorney General of the federation then and none of the members then as a single question for him, they all stood up for him and for what he stands for .Filming someone without their consent is wrong because the whole since is been masterminded by the person behind the camera and only him and his cohort knows what to edit. AL-Mustapha waited for almost 12 years to come out with the statement and amongs his defence/proofed are dead people! Do not be surprised his next person will be Chief Gani Fawehinmi!
