Good , that is why we respect our elders in Yoruba land, we don't wake them up with side tackles like a particular tribe that have parental deficiency, you see them insulting and cussing .

Respect isn’t by lying down to greet your elders. When I was serving in Oyo a lot of the students if not all do postrate to greet we then corpers, after them prostrate finish them come for evening wan rape one of our female colleagues. We chase them, then the reinforced the next day after school to pursue us.
I ran ehh all the corpers snd teachers. We had to call police to get them and arrested them before the thing started cooling down.
That’s exactly what you Yoruba call respect. Hail him in the front and insult him in the back. Prostrate in front and disrespect behind, that’s Yorubas version of respect.
