Honestly, I thought I am the only one who feels that they are ordinary and mediocre like a youtube channel

There is nothing worst about TVC. Don't play the game of deflections.

TVC is quite balanced and doesn't harangue guests who come on their show or try to force their opinions down the throat others.

TVC Breakfast, Your View and This Morning are very very balanced shows. Except you don't watch TVC then you can be making false assumptions.
Go and watch journalist hangout, Otitoju and co are puppets praising Asiwaju.

Nothing to see here.

Funke Cole writes for The Nation newspaper owned by Tinubu, she also writes for PM News owned by Tinubu's close ally.

It's understandable Arise TV makes her principals uncomfortable with what they do. See her calling for NBC casually for their intervention because they are not dancing to the tune of her principals like other media stations are doing....smh

What these people don't know is most people who now watch Arise TV do so because of the good job they did during the ENDSARS protests covering the whole protest and even the bloodbath that ended the protest as influenced by state actors. It was on Arise TV we watched survivors being interviewed the next in which one of them gave account of how he had to dive into the water to escape soldiers' bullet who still shot at him while in the waters.

Some of us will keep holding Arise TV in high esteem, higher than dem NTA, Channels and Co.....except they do the ultimate of revoking their broadcast licence ( which of course will show the true colors of the ruling class that they do not want to entertain any form of Criticism)
Funny how she didn't call NBC for an opinion titled Obituary in their paper. Bigoted f*ools

Every media house in the world is biased, whether print, electronic or cyber, forums, blogs, whatever.

Once they offer opportunities for discourse and opinions they set rules, boundaries and redlines that favour a select at the exoense of another.

Even Nairaland has perceptible biases.

I’m beginning to think that Tinubu may have bought PM news. The number of lame articles trying to paint him as a messiah I have seen on that platform is shocking. It’s only a mad person that will dream of voting for APC again.

I watch Journalist Hangouts and there is no bias there. I think you are mistaken on BKO and the guests on JH.
He may or may not support Asiwaju, but he doesn't let that cloud his sense of reasoning or prevent him from being objective on the issues being disussed.
You need to understand the issue being raised with Arise TV and get the proper context.

Can you remind me how many TV stations we have in Lagos alone?
Is it a crime for a jittery politician to refuse an Arise interview?

I think Nduka is PDP. He was during GEJ’s tenure. Arise appears to be in support of pdp even though they try to balance it.

As for Obi, there seems to be a general consensus of support from most Igbos wherever you find them so no surprises here.

If you were an avid reader of thisday newspapers, you wouldnt be surprised at arise tvs political slant. Theyre both rightwing media houses and subtly extremist in their views. AiT did more than this prior to 2015 elections. In the end, we all know how the story went.

TVC is even owned by Tinubu and clearly pro-APC. Nobody has called for their sanction, but because Arise TV makes them uncomfortable now, then they should be sanctioned.

These people can't even take half of what they dish out. When AriseTV in company of their owner interviewed Buhari the last time, nobody in the APC was barking o, but now that AriseTv is asking their principal whether he will build on the failures of Buhari, Arise TV is suddenly their headache

To me, AriseTV is the only media agency that truly represents the voice of the oppressed Nigerians. They are the only media outlet that does not pamper corrupt politicians and their sympathisers. They are never afraid to ask the difficult and embarrassing questions to our scrupulous ruling class. Every media outlet should be as fearless AriseTV and should never be cowed by politicians and elites. Thumbs up to AriseTV.
arisetv actually represent voice of the senseless, insurrectionist, secessionist, insolent member of the public who think the nation will become dubai in four years....
Re: Funke Cole: Arise TV Needs To Rise Above Mediocrity, Partisanship by IgOga(m): 7:26am On Aug 10, 2022
They are not a media house. I often complain on their youtube page that they were selling an agenda and that was before Obi became a thing......it is dangerous.....
TV stations are usually bias...CNN bias towards democrats, Foxnews bias towards republicans, TVC bias towards APC/Progressives, AIT bias towards Labour

However AriseTV is about selling an agenda.....demonise every other leader apart from the one they are supporting. I have seen Obi quote false data and these guys just give it a pass, they are fond of playing the security situation as if it only affects the viewers....the country is fighting terrorism you are blaming one person....terrorists dont care whether you are north or south...they killed as many northerners as southerners on Kaduna train...they attack all kinds of people in their banditry....but ariseTv weaponises this and blame anyone while lying that there is someone with solution...only that when the so called solution man comes on the show he really provides no solution...then they say wow what a solution shocked

Go to TVC and The Nation newspaper and air your Agbado views and opinions.
Other channels are too decent to entertain your Agbado views.

There's no gain saying that this administration albeit the party has failed woefully in many indices of good governance. Many news outlets are biased no doubt. Singling out some persons on Arise tv to condemn, and mentioning NBC to sanction the station is overstretching it. Tvc and some other news outlets and tabloids are not immuned to this biasness, especially during Jonathan's tenure.

Arise TV portrays worse than mediocrity and partisanship…..the station is an épitomé of hatchet journalism unworthy of modern-day broadcasting. Should the NBC decide to withdraw their Licence after full investigation which no doubt would confirm Funke Cole’s assertions and censure, Arise TV’s exit would be no loss whatever…..in fact it will be good riddance to bad rubbish!! cool cool cool

When Peter obi came on arise tv the wanted to kill the man with questions upon questions. When It got to atiku they went to his house gave him the questions they will ask him and even were soft on him, tinubu till now is running from interview. Wen they question this government that has failed is that not wat the press is supposed to do?. I feel Peter obi should stop stressing his self to attend all this interviews no be only him dey contests for president. Partisanship my foot, truth is always bitter.
