There are different stages people pass through psychologically when faced with an unpleasant situation.

1st, they will laugh it off as ridiculously impossible.

2nd, they will refuse to accept it, even when there is evidence.

3rd, they will become frustrated and turn violent, without minding whether it would do more harm to them.

Tinubu and his cronies have gone past stage 1 and 2, they're now at 3 also known as the fatal stage. Tinubu never believed a time will come when his Idi Amin control of Lagos will be challenged. He went the extra mile to ensure that every sector that is pivotal is either directly controlled by him, his family members or cronies. While his company, Alpha Beta is in charge of Lagos revenue, his daughter is in charge of the markets, his agberos are in charge of the public spaces, while his stooges are made governors or removed at his beck and call. To completely turn Lagos to his private estate or empire, he started grooming his son Seyi, to take over now he is getting old. Since 1999 till date, Tinubu has succeeded in all his plans and coupled with the humongous wealth at his disposal has made it almost impossible for anyone to challenge his authority for 23 years now.

However, all that is about to change, and it is happening at a time he least expected it. Tinubu has seen the handwriting on the wall that majority of Lagosians are fed up with him. Worse still, electoral reforms has now made it extremely difficult for him to use two tools that hitherto worked perfectly for him i.e. violence and money.

To worsen his predicament, two demographies that constitute the vast majority of Lagosians are now against Tinubu and they're Youths and Christians. While Christians make up at least 70% of Lagosians, the Youths also constitute not less than 70% of the voting population.

Like I stated earlier, Tinubu is now at stage 3 which is the violent and frustration phase. He is now supporting acts that could lead to violence without minding what the outcome could be. Firstly, he tried to stop those he percieved would vote against him from getting their PVC's. The next thing was to start preaching hate, using threats and labeling everyone who is against him as IPOB or Igbos, even though they know it's not factual. So far, he has tried all he could to turn a democratic exercise into a war between Igbos and Yorubas.

There has been awareness and rallies by the three major parties in different cities across Nigeria and there has never been any violence recorded so far. However, BAT and his followers want to change that out of frustration. Obi-dient Movement scheduled to hold their rally at the Lekki toll gate, only for BAT to fix their own rally on the same place and at the same date and time. As if that's not enough, they're threatening to use agberos and urchins to fight those on a peaceful rally. BAT already knows that the current status quo does not favour him so he is hoping there would be violence to change it. However, in his blind rage, he has failed to consider that such violence could worsen things for him and further alienate the undecided.

Pitching Yoruba's against Igbo's is Tinubu's last card.Most enlightened Yoruba's know that poor leadership knows no tribe or religion, it affects everyone.

I don't see Tinubu winning anywhere in Eti-Osa (Ikoyi, Lekki, Ajah and VI), Awoyaya, Sangotedo, Ikeja, Ojodu-Berger, Magodo, etc because these places are of full of very enlightened and educated people who understand what is at stake.

As for Ojo, Festac, Ago Palace, etc...Peter Obi will clear those places.
