Meta expands NFT support to 100 plus countries. Instagram, owned by Meta, recently stated that it will now offer the NFT feature in 100 additional regions. According to a Meta press article published on Thursday, the Mark Zuckerberg-led company has started to expand its nonfungible token (NFT) program across 100 countries in Africa, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.

This includes adding support for Coinbase Wallet and Dapper wallet connections and the ability to upload digital collectibles created on the Flow blockchain.

Instagram Being the Primary Focus on Rollout

The primary focus of the rollout is Instagram, a well-known social media platform. This advancement will make Web3 technologies, beginning with NFTs, more accessible to the social media network’s over 1.3 billion members. These 100 countries are spread across the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
