Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:27.

A cubit is the length from your elbow to the tip of your finger. No one can add a cubit, or an inch or centimeter, to his or her height by worrying about it. Anxiety never accomplishes anything, in fact, but to cause us stress, waste time, and diminish our trust in God.

Prayer.
You, Lord, know of our needs even before we ask you for them. You are more than willing to provide for us. You say, "Seek, and you shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened. " Let our faith in your fatherly provision grow as we see you provide for us time and time again. Amen.
