Henryjr:If and only if President Buhari makes good his promise not to interfere in the upcoming election and allow the will of the people to prevail, Nigerians can actually forget his 8 years of maladministration and bid him farewell to enjoy his retirement in Daura, but alas! He talks one and does another. |

Mayorofodemu: There is no crime in it, for him to have gone to another country to learn how things should be properly done. Although, we are leading when it comes to democracy and proper electioneering in Africa. |

Hope he will learn a lot there and endeavour to implement it here. A seamless process is all that we ask for come 2023.

Spicycat: Have you been to Kenya before, or at least been a part of their electoral process? Do you understand the role of poll observers (national and international) during a country's elections? The EU, the Commonwealth, and other international organisations and embassies will always send their observers to monitor/assess the credibility of a country's elections from a neutral position. In Kenya, even the professional bodies of accountants, doctors, lawyers, engineers usually send observers. It has got nothing to do with learning how to conduct polls. Still, what indicators do you use to gauge how much ahead of Kenya Nigeria is when it comes to elections? Apart from the usually blatant rigging of elections that occur in Kenya every 5 years (which is also common in Nigeria), what makes Nigeria's electioneering process "miles ahead" of Kenya's? Spicy, it's not every time you must display arrogance (and sometimes ignorance) when discussing matters concerning other African countries. They may have their usual 3rd world issues but they're not the ones continously obsessing about how to japa. |
