I will never be part of people abusing this man of honour President Buhari. The trap PDP set for APC while handling over power was so deadly and huge. The economy was in shambles, security was in comatose and things were just so rotten in all spheres of life but wasn't so obvious but it was already a keg of gun powder. Buhari tried his best, it was just unfortunate that many of us populace couldn't see beyond emotion, coupled with the havoc Coronavirus created worldwide. Every country is facing the economy meltdown. We will all appreciate this man after leaving office.

Does any Onyeama have certification or doctorate in the language? Oh, I forgot; one of them, Dilibe, I think, stated something about Nigga Sex and Nigga Eaton - never made best seller, though. Buhari did. QED.

Werey,he shutdown the ECOWAS (seme) boarder since March 2019, where it is known to be a free trade zone, but he then opened it just last month because he knows his tenure is about to elapse whereas Niger boarders to Nigeria has been opened to his cousins and families. To my dear Nigerians,if you feel this administration has done enough, abeg make una no ever try put APC for power again. If only Nigerians understood Fela songs about Buhari before he was elected, we would had woken up long time ago but unfortunately we can't trust APC and PDP anymore. Not anymore

presidency:
President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday received at State House, Abuja, the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, and his Management Team, telling them the kind of sub-regional body West African leaders desire, and must have.

The President told Dr Omar Alieu Touray, the new President, and the delegation: “I wish you success in your assignments, which we hope can collectively drive our sub-region to one that is economically integrated, politically stable, and socially in harmony with itself, to the admiration of our continent, and, indeed, global community.

“That is the ECOWAS we desire, and must have. You cannot afford to disappoint us.”

The President said as the host of the ECOWAS Commission, Nigeria expects that the scrupulous processes that led to the new appointments “would impact on the fortunes of our Organisation in terms of efficient and effective service delivery that bears positive impact on the lives of our citizens.”

He added that when the founding fathers met on 28th May, 1975, to establish ECOWAS, what was uppermost on their minds was the promotion of economic cooperation between the member-States in order to raise the living standards of citizens hence driving the economic development of the sub-region in an integrated manner.

President Buhari further noted: “Forty-seven years after, this core objective for the formation of ECOWAS remains critically relevant to our national and sub-regional aspirations. Issues of inter-state cooperation and collaboration, harmonisation of policies, integration of programmes, conflict management and security of the sub-region, have continued to necessitate the need for our solidarity and collective responses to our common challenges, such as climate change, terrorism, health issues, good governance and the sustainability of democracy anchored on rule of law and ultimately, development and progress for our citizens.”

He told the new Management Team that citizens of ECOWAS must directly feel the impact of the organization through people-oriented programmes and projects that include effective advocacy around core issues of concerns to the sub-region.

“May I emphasize the importance of team-work and the necessity for the new Team to work assiduously to re-position ECOWAS in order to deliver to the expectations of our citizens through a careful fine-tuning of our sub-region’s development agenda 2050, that is guided by the African Union Agenda 2063, and conscious of the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.

“With many Development Experts on your Team, I have no doubt that you will evolve appropriate partnerships and working relationships with Development Partners across the globe, to maximise opportunities for progress,” President Buhari submitted.

Dr Alieu Touray thanked Nigeria for the support she gave to the candidature of the new Team members, pledging that they would live up to the expectations of West African leaders, “as we are fully conscious of the priorities set for us.”

He said they would work with member-States to pursue their objectives, “and make ECOWAS institutions what you want them to be.”

THE MANY LIES OF TINUBU AND HIS CAMPAIGN TEAM AGAINST PETER OBI

To put the matter straight Peter Obi is the most accepted of all the presidential candidates among the Nigerians from all ages, professions, tribes, religions, of course peter obi is the most suited for the job among the contenders.

Unfortunately his political opponents especially that of APC, BOLA TINUBU and his campaign team are scheming and working hard to destroy the good will that Nigerians have bestowed on Obi.

The OBI's campaign team should therefore put in some work to counter this as they prepare to commence campaigns soon .

I am going to clearly state here the evil strategies that the BATIST are using to dent Obi's candidature and advice on how Obi's team should counter this.

Tinubu's evil goals.

1) Create the impression that Peter Obi is a sectional project.

2) Portray Peter Obi's supporters across Nigeria as Ipob and violent people and intolerant.

3) Portray Peter Obi and the Obidients as deceitful and liars.

4) Portray Obi's presidency as a tribal project.

HOW THEY WORK ON THIS EVIL SCHEMES

Tinubu's campaign team hires and pays some people especially in the media to design and create violent posts, engage in tribal discriminating acts and posts, issue tribal warnings and threats, while hiding under the Obidient camp to carry out this evil acts. Then they turn around and accuse Peter Obi and his supporters.

They sponsor and publish this acts on national dailys (e.g. The Nation Newspaper) social media, and infact all media claiming victims and making the Obidients the culprit.

They create false and deceitful informations including endorsements by celebrity figures, some polticians, videos, images hiding under the image of the obidients, then turn around to publish such reports as lies and deceit from Obidient team.

An example was a sponsored article where Tinubu8 campaign team hired some criminals called Igbo youths.

They issued threats that Tinubu's campaign team are not allowed in the South East. They ran to the Guardian newspaper paid and published it.

All these is to portray Peter Obi's support base as intolerant.

Treacherous indeed.

A lot of dangerous scenarios like this one plays out every day.

However let me warn Obi's team that more aggressive versions of this evil scheming by Tinubu, his campaign team and his supporters are in store against Peter Obi's Presidential aspiration and the movement

But we know that lies, propaganda and falsehood cannot stop the choice of the Nigerian masses.

Peter Obi's Campaign Team, The Labour Party (LP) And All Obidient Supporters Must Therefore Be Proactive In The Way They React And Respond To The Many Lies Emanating From the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate

This one is among those who when appled for a job to manage someone's business/firms that needs a rejig, ends up giving excuses on how the manager before him grounded the business before he took over! undecided

If you cannot salvage the situation of the firm, take your failing ass outta the company and quit complaining and making excuses and let another with tested management skill takes over!

Your excuses are so flat and lame!

Well, this is simply according to your experience. Guguru is popcorn. The fact that it isn't well made doesn't change its name. And I can say this because is grew up producing it commercially as a family business.

A brief personal history:

The type of corn that pops wasn't sourced locally. It was mostly imported. In the 80s, importation was normal as people could choose to buy local or imported stuff . The change in quality (i.e. some corn not popping) came when government tried to ban the importation in the 80s (Buhari era). The local alternatives were not as good in popping as the imported ones. But we never called the local one a different name. Both types were guguru.

We later packed up production when we realized the local variant wasn't yielding enough profits as the imported ones.

It's sad remembering how this country kills businesses. The machine we used in making the popcorn was imported. Automatic. When it gets to the right popping temperature, it automatically moved the pot away from the heater and pours the popped corn out, pass it to the batching and sealing machine, and loads another fresh batch for heating. It did all these with little human help.

Unfortunately, the machine couldn't operate with our local corn that doesn't pop at particular temperatures. Machine was left to rot and spoil. By the time the ban was removed by another government, the machine had gone to waste. End of that business.
