You don't even know the difference between CAN and Catholic and that made you to say what you don't know.
CAN is a body of christains in Nigeria while Catholic is a body comprises of members that attend Catholic church in Nigeria. Just as we have ECWA, Baptist, Anglican, CAC etc. Each umbrella have their spokesman that speaks for them, same as you have in Islam, that you have different sects
