Peter Obi’s “Obidient” Movement Mere Euphoria, Can’t Win Election — Dino Melaye (Video)

The spokesperson of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Organisation, Dino Melaye, has described the political movement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a mere “euphoria” that cannot win an election, IGBERETV reports.

Mr Melaye stated this on Friday during an interview on “Politics Today”, a programme on Channels Television.

He said Peter Obi is a fantastic Nigerian whom he respects but said it is not yet time for Peter Obi to become president.

He said Peter Obi lacks what it takes to unify the country. He stated that Atiku Abubakar can unify the country because Atiku has been tested, trusted and accepted in all the geopolitical zones of the country.

He said the “Obidient” movement of Mr Obi is similar to the euphoria that followed the candidacy of late human rights lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi, who ran for president on the platform of National Conscience Party (NCP) in 2003 but eventually got 1,400 votes.

In Melaye's words;

“There is no wave, what you have is an euphoria, a created euphoria. I want to tell you that everybody shouting Peter Obi on social media …… he is a fantastic Nigerian but this is not his time. He doesn’t have what it takes to unify this country. Before you start talking about the economy, you need peace. You need to build trust among Nigerians.

“It takes Atiku to unify this country. It takes a man that will be trusted in the north, in the east and every part of this country…..Today, among all the candidates, he is the only one that can be trusted. No one will see him as a religious bigot, nobody will see him as a tribalist, and nobody will see him as an ethnic jingoist, even those of us around him. All those things you see are euphoria.

“What is the followership of Obi on social media? Even those people making the imaginary noise don’t follow Obi on social media. Go to Twitter, go to Instagram, and check his handle.

“We have seen it before in this country, Gani Faweyinmi once ran for the president of this country, Facebook went agog, at the end of the day he got 1,400 votes. Femi Falana ran for governor. He is known, he is popular, with the same euphoria, he lost.”

Do you knw you knw that it's only criminals, slaves that love chains on their necks and idiotts who love the the current situation in Nigeria to remain are those that always lay emphasis on structure this structure that...?

Once someone is laying emphasis on structure look at him very well, he belongs to one the classes of the aforementioned groups..

These are the people who can never analyse politics using individualism, they always capitalise on structure because they believe that their criminal candidates have hijacked the tickets of the major criminal political parties in Nigeria...
