Attempts to cancel Russian culture and Russia itself are futile, and those who think otherwise have not learned the lessons of history, Vladimir Putin said .
"History is made by people. And today it is you, too — young people who can dream and create, work and win. You must continue the traditions of culture, ensure the continuity of generations," Putin said
He pointed out that all the guests and participants of the festival are bright, creative personalities who are united by faith in justice, love for the Motherland, the desire for self-development and a sincere desire to help people.
"Today, you are all close by, ready to join forces to achieve common goals, which means you are sure: to be strong, you need to be together. This is taught by the entire rich, thousand-year history of Russia . I know that you support our heroes with your creative achievements, with your deeds - soldiers, officers, volunteers and militias in the Donbass . Thank you for this," Putin addressed the youth.
According to him, any difficulties and trials are a time of new opportunities and courageous people. The President also wished the participants to find new friends at the festival and expressed hope that it would become an important step towards further success.

Nobody is attempting to ‘cancel’ Russia. Countries are attempting to punish Russia for their senseless invasion of a sovereign country.

Prior to their shenanigans in Ukraine, the world was trying to reach out to Russia. For example, Merkel did a lot to try to tie Russia to the EU by linking German heavy industry with gas supply from Russia.

But Putin no dey hear word. So now their economy and reputation is taking the hit, alongside their military struggles in Ukraine.

Punishment backfiring on the punishers cheesy

Merkel understand Putin and the power struggle going on, she's not a fool and puppet like the EU leaders we have now...

Leave them and their nonsense. People who are not objective in thoughts and swallow everything the west says as the truth. They are trying to suddenly twist things right before our very eyes. Before the invasion, Putin clearly stated that the west must provide a guarantee that Ukraine must not join NATO and must maintain neutral status but what was NATO's response? They said Ukraine had the right to join as a sovereign nation despite them knowing the implications of what they were dealing with. Now that the war is on, they are talking about finding a diplomatic solution to end it. Something that should have been decided even before the war broke out. Yet some people are calling it a senseless invasion.

Research to understand what China banned.
China banned those aircraft that where seized by Russia not all Russia airlines.

Breaking news

JPM and Bank of America are among banks moving back to Russian bond trading after exiting it just 4 months ago.
JPM continues to be JPM source Bloomberg
For them to be moving back means USA government knew about it and gave them the other.

Germany’s business model is broken because Germans must swallow “bitter medicine” after years of cheap Russian energy, economy minister Habeck says

Yes, the EU is much bigger than Russia. Germany alone has a bigger GDP than Russia.
While the sanctions are having an impact on energy prices in the EU, they’re also wrecking the Russian economy.

I mean, this opinion has no basis in reality. Heavily thing the German economy to Russian gas has backfired, and is causing Germany sleepless nights as Russia plays politics with their gas supply.

The good thing is that this dependence is being strategically mitigated, and in the long run, they’ll wean themselves off Russian gas.

Aside from forcing Ukraine out of Luhansk in a bloody month of battles, the Russian army has made very limited progress in the East in the past month and half. And at the cost of a lot of casualties and destroyed logistics from HIMARS strikes. Meanwhile, they’ve been stalled at Izyum and Kharkiv and in the South, Ukrainian forces continue their gradual drive to Kherson, destroying logistic centers and slowly closing escape routes for a huge number of Russian soldiers.

They just destroyed half of the Black Sea Fleet’s air fleet some days ago, and have struck a major munitions dump and railway crossing In Crimea last night.

All I’ve described is what everyone with sense knows. Russia is struggling like mad in Ukraine.

Oh, you still believe the fairytale that it was about NATO? At your age? and with the internet at your fingertips?

Anyway, thanks to Putin, Finland and Sweden don sign up for NATO. And all NATO countries are arming up like Crazy. When the war is done in Ukraine, Russia will end up with even more powerful neighbors.

And tens of thousands of dead soldiers, naturally.

It's a Leftist thing to do.
Children born in the 1980s are unaware that Russia once occupied West Germany.
Russia is not deterred by the EU pile-on.

My own issue with the west who says Russia is to blame.
My own is why are they keeping a WWII war relic still operating and who are they wanting to use it against?

If they can honestly answer this question maybe I can start to understand their notion on Russia, till then I don't believe anything they say.

You must be related to Bubari.

1. USSR (which includes the current Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia e.t.c. ) not Russia.

2. USSR occupied East Germany and not West Germany.

Communist East Germany which was managed by USSR was also terrible and failed to advance both economically and technologically like the West which was managed by Western countries.

It mirrors what we currently have between the two Koreas. (Communist North and Democratic South).

You guys actually think the whole world begins and ends with North America and Europe. Whole Russia may have lost the friendship of Europe, it has gained strategic alliances elsewhere with India, China, Turkey, abrazil, etc. The fact that Russia is still thriving despite isolation from the so-called west shows that the west is becoming irrelevant. Where did I mention that the world starts and ends with North America/Europe. Are Russians Africans or Europeans?

Well, I would rather prefer the world revolve around succesful countries like Canada, Australia, South Korea, USA, UK, UAE, the Asian Tigers e.t.c than countries like China, India, brazil and other similar to 3rd world countries. I left out your dear turkey. Turkey would always tow the line of Western countries.

About Russia thriving is debatable. Russia is getting hammered just as other countries that depends on it for gas are getting hammered too.

Ps: Inflation rate in Russia is more than that of the UK, Canada, Australia (Non American/Europe), Germany, France, Japan (Non American/Europe), USA e.t.c. GDP per capita are higher in those countries too. Russia's economy contracted sharply by 4% in the last economic quarter due to sanctions.

Oh. And I don't give a damn about Russia or Ukraine.

Repeating what you read/heard doesn't make you intelligent. It makes you a parrot
You do that a lot.
The US denied they were having inflation and when they went into recession, they changed the definition. The West lied so much about their true economic state so that they can remain tourist destinations. EU/US were printing money while countries with commodities they depend on to keep their economies afloat are branded as poor. They painted Africa as a jungle and discouraged trips to Africa etc for economic reasons. Their policy is to keep Africa down while draining its resources. France takes 60% of annual revenues from its former colonies, just to keep France running
I can give you so many instances of the West lying about their economies but what does that do to your deeply held beliefs?
You will repeat the propaganda

Imagine what's coming out from your mouth, the entitlement mentality is irritating... So Russia should give them gas for free after the record sanctions and expectations that Russia economy would've collapsed now... shocked

No doubt the West have been successful but they have reached their peak and are fast losing relevance. Russia, China, India, etc are in a way, still developing countries with enough room to be ten times more productive than the west in the future. It has been predicted that 40% of world production will come from the BRICS countries by 2040. America knows this, and knows this and is unhappy about it. The west is the past, BRICS is the future. I would rather go with the future.

Read up and understand how trade works, it's not about the damn numbers, it's about reliability and sustainability, what you produce and how important it is to the world, Europe produce cars, techs, commerce all this things can be gotten elsewhere and there are a couple dozen countries that produce the same thing.
Russia economy is stronger than all of Europe combined, they have resources that doesn't lose value and will always sell.

And if you think Russia is struggling in Ukraine when it's only commiting less than 5% of it's troops there then you're a fool,no insult intended.
Russia is more armed than the whole of Europe combined, the rate at which some clueless ones among you are fooled by western narratives is pathetic. They have over 15,000 tanks alone, they've got ,over 5k planes, corvettes, hundreds of ships and subs, weapons that will make you wet your pants,7k nukes, they have every god-damn millitary tech in the world and they've not even used 5% in Ukraine and they've taken 40% of the country in 5 months
