I've not upgraded my SIM card yet ....but it shows 4G when I'm surfing the net.
Thou my phone is 4G enabled..but the simcard itself is 3G.

Tecno has a 5g phone , cant remember the name, its one thing to write 5G on the label, and its another thing for it to work like a 5G phone.

Not yet common here, some people think 5G means the phone has 5 sim cards.

I just switch mine to 5G, the network is faster than before. I think it's cool.

Yes MTN has started 5G roll out. I am sure of Rivers state . 5G was deployed on 40 sites as the pilot sites by ZTE

You must be using MTN for your internet surfing. They are the only one who have openly confirmed that they are working on 5G so far. Plus, your location must have been one of Lagos and Abuja.

You might see 5G signal if you are around MTN Head office at Falomo provided you are MTN user with 5G device.
