A union went on strike, and the minister met with their representatives, without allowing them report back to their people, the minister's aide is announcing the calling off.

Looks like ASUU is the most coordinated union.

Already power supply in my area is less than 9 days in a month plus estimated bill of N27-32000.

So we didn't notice if you actually embarked on any strike action. Next please go for ONE CALENDAR YEAR then we will notice your strike action

Efu-le-fus
which area is that? We pay 3500 per month here and we do have a maximum of 17hrs light.

I swear. I just saw someone tweet about it few minutes ago. This should be the shortest strike ever in Nigeria.

Re: Electricity Workers Call Off Strike by Rajahbite(m): 9:43pm On Aug 17, 2022
Airlines/flight operators abi workers threatened going on stike,FG negotiated and stemmed the action before they even embarked .
Now electricity employees went on strike , the same FG is quick to negotiate and the strike action called off in less than 24hrs .
ASUU has been on strike for a greater part of 2022 , yet no positive step from the Federal Government , truly this government is wack .

Hmmm. Not surprised ooo. Captain Smart of Inspiration FM LAGOS clearly told Nigerians that the purported strike would be called off sooner than expected because the power sector concerns them. ASUU strike is of no concern to them because their children don't school in Nigerian institutions. Sad!

Blackout across Nigeria would have been a good selling point for the opposition against the APC, that's why the wicked morons were swift to take action.

They are striking because they don't want to do promotional exams.Nddc wants to strike because they don't want their staff audited.

citizens too are sometimes the problem, call out corruption only when it does not favor them.

Wicked people, you all should be arrested and never be allowed to taste power like Oshiomhole. You will be worse than buhari and oshiomhole combined.

Ode. People are being denied their entitlement and are fighting for it but all you can do is to label them. If the government doesn't pay and they are eventually laid off, will they come to your day to request for it? Lecturers have been on strike for 6 months. Do you label them wicked? By the way, I actually thought you don't enjoy the electricity at all. Why you con dey vex say dem shot down? Try improve your shallow thinking.
