Forex wahala. Emefiele has mopped up our dollar reserve for politics.

Yes oh, a whole seating cbn governor bought fleets of vehicles to run for president. What gave him the confidence if not that he thought he could buy his way with $$? I mean look at the man, no personality, failed policies. If not money how could he even consider Nigerians will elect him?
I hear the other major culprits mainly the cassava, garri crooner, has played a devastating role too. Say him don buy all the forex for black market and cbn will all the trillions him don keep for emilokan 2023.
Meanwhile, the heardsman for villa no see reason discharge Emefiele since, ie rewarding failure.

This government has a way of crumbling both domestic and international business. We are in a age where economic development is key to power of any nation, but this government does not understand this principle.

The country will loss revenue, employment and status if emirate decide to suspend their business. A right thinking government Willa seek ways to find solution to this before it gets to this stage.

Okay! The third airline to seize operations in Nigeria. Very soon we would have no choice than to use "by Roads" and get in mercy of kidnappers. We would also have to start international travels by sea and get in mercy of pirates ☠ APC has created so much vacuum that would be so tough for the next President to fill up, what a shame !

Bad press and journalism.....No explanation of what led to the US$85 million been blocked. abi we be witch to know why

Anyone who has been following news or who knows the bare minimum about the economy knows.

Simply put, the airlines sell tickets in naira (converted from dollars at official rate) but the repatriation of revenue is done in US dollars (after government takes out taxes). Currently, the Nigerian government has not provided the dollars to Emirates and it has accumulated to 85 million dollars

Emirates has cried out. How many other companies are facing the same problem is unknown.

All thanks to Buhari being the ultimate determinant of the official exchange rate of the Naira, a rate he sets at a price that is never market reflective. This has led to artificial scarcity of fx.

The heavy subsidy of petrol has compounded its woes as its gulping fx like mad, with nothing to show for it

Just policy. Address the policy and see the economy coming back. The CBN force law on repatriation of proceeds is a huge block. CBN has seriously damaged the Naira hence the unnecessarily clamping.

Most of the issues we are facing is just policies. The next government should bring in capable hands and before you know it Nigeria will b back on her feet.

Yoruba always says "bi (if your) iyo (salt) yin ko ba dun one (fails to show in your soup), e ma fi ikaran mo ewe (don't get angry with the leave). CBN through her unpolished policies have jeopardize the Naira and are only saving face with attacking people and forcing them to sell their dollar at the I&E window instead of withdrawing it or have control over their money.

So sad that even a toddler knows the solution to Nigeria's problem but APC are devilish party just hell bent in destroying the country

Quite straightforward actually.
We all should get involved in various ways with the different aspects of the political process to shape the agenda and put pressure on all the players. Get involved with our time, talents and money to make an impact that reflects our own desires.
Is that not generally what oyinbos do to make their places a desirable destination for us to japa to

What is wrong with this country, why can't they release the funds for them , but politicians are moving much more more out of the country one way on the other, if investor can't repatriate their money then it will be difficult to more investors to come into the country, this is not good for the country
