What will it cause FG to declare vacancy in all FG universities with an opportunity to reform the sector?

There are more PhD holders in Nigeria that are not gainfully employed compared to all the lecturers that are currently on government's payroll who only rely on lecture notes they themselves got as postgraduate students in the university in the 80's

This is not medical line that the risk is too high.

That is the only way to clip the wings of ASUU permanently

Pay ASUU #1.2trilion today, they will still go on strike next year

The sad part is that other unions are watching how well ASUU gets its wishes, and are waiting in the wings to start their own strike too.

ASUU is officially the one that will cripple the nation if left unchecked.

FG should be ready for mass strike nationwide should ASUU become millionaires by FG according to their demands

You all blaming ASUU. Have the government ever do you and your family any good that you can boost of? All man for himself as one singer said in his song. The government steals from you, they don't care about you. All they care about is their family and their selfish needs. Just as the op said, there are so many graduates with good grades but yet unemployed or squeezing themselves on a peanut in income.
Now ASUU joined the trend and you guys behaving as if it's a new thing

Ban ASUU now, and sack any lecturer affiliated to it period, how can you be clamouring for salaries you've not worked for, are they truly practicing what they claim to teach, is that not daylight robbery.
Infact that salary should be shared among the students as a form of compensation.

ASUU knew that only the children of the poor attends FG universities, yet decided to inflict more pains on the poor because ASUU should be earning millions like politicians

Do you know how much parents had paid to landlords for the section that ASUU had wasted?

You want to collect salary of 6 months you did not work for?

Who pays back the students 6 month house rent wasted for nothing?

I think the best approach to this ASUU issues is to break their monopoly, by giving more recognition to CONUA. In this regard, more lecturers would move to CONUA once they are officially recognised. Another option is to privatize all Federal Universities, but with consequent increase in tuition fees. It will be impossible for all the lecturers to be sacked at once. It would have ripple effect on the education system in Nigeria.

ASUU finds it convenient to cripple the economy of the university community for 6 months yet wants to get paid for not working.

Who will pay back the business centers where photocopy and printing of documents are made, food vendors, artisans, traders etc that depends on patronage from students who are now in serious debt and hardship because of ASUU's insensitivity?

this afonja Muslim pig would have been insulting GEJ by now over this ASUU strike but the idiot won't talk because a fulani man is in power.
This is how obidients reason naturally.
No point wasting time on people chanting "go and verify" only to discover they are lying.

Majority of them will reapply. They have no where else to go.
Then, they will be curbed under new regulations

Adamu had told State House correspondents on Thursday that the government would not pay the lecturers for the period of strike.

But reacting to the government’s position, Osodeke said, “He is joking. If they fail to pay, we will not teach those students; we won’t make up for that period. We will start a new session (2022/2023). We won’t conduct examinations; we will start a fresh session totally.
” _Lecturers are not doctors that once life is gone, it can’t be brought back. For lecturers, we can still resume where we stopped and still teach them and make up for lost time._ But for us, if they fail to pay we won’t make up for the lost time. We won’t go back to fill backlogs; the schools will start a new session, 2022/2023. Examinations and the period lost won’t be taught.”

I am interested in knowing how they will make their final year students to catch up with their colleagues in private universities who had already been mobilized for NYSC
