Lagos is the only state where present failures are attributed to past administration, you didn't see it from the two sides, did you?
Ambode justified his failures by saying he pays Tinubu 50 billion monthly, you swallowed it hook line and sinker.
And stupid people are also attributing the present "progress" under the present administration to Tinubu, e.g the rail project, the two sides are basically st*pid.
The BATified and Obidatti, a group of clowns who will do anything to sway the tides in their favor.
...

Yes tinubu brought in buhari,he told us that buhari is the Messiah,we can blame him for that but have never attributed buharis failure to him, instead we blame it on the party that brought him in..

I think young people should ask questions and not be swayed by emotions. Nigeria can not afford to make another Buhari. Let's not make any excuses for our preferred candidates. Support them, at the same time ask them questions; hold them accountable.

You are right but then who do you think is better, from the leading contenders.

Tinubu obviously. Tinubu knows how to choose and delegate which are great qualities in leadership. Obi is a solo man and a smooth talker. Atiku is Fulani and should go and rest.

The fact still remain that the combination of Obi and Datti is the best option we have.

We would not rather have an aged Tinubu who has lately been unsound. Shetimma, at his best, is not the most brilliant person. His personality is also shrouded in much controversy.

We also would not rather opt for an Atiku and Okowa combination. This is drab enough...

ObiDatti is not the best in the world. But it's the best option we have. It's our surest bet for a breakaway from the status quo.

"Obi is very corrupt" is an unfounded statement built on zero premise.

Jonathan was unique. But he wasn't necessarily a break from the old order. He rode on the dominance of PDP, a party that is built on the structures of corrupt stakeholders...

What's different with Obi is, first, his nonaligned stance from PDP or APC. Secondly, he seems to have an ideology. He has been vocal about his plans and approach to addressing Nigeria's corruption malady. His track-record at Anambra, if nothing, supports this stance.

Obi has an ideology of a servant leader. He is not the flamboyant type. He is extremely frugal with resources. He is literally a tad different from what we've always known of a Nigerian politician. Interestingly, he is in a party that rides solely on his influence (as a choice of many). This is democracy coming alive.

An Obi's win would put the corrupt old order in their place and signal the people's democratic capacity. If elected, Obi himself would be most accountable to the people, knowing that he had no "structure" except the people.

At best all the presidential aspirants are scams, whoever wins won't do anything, they are lack clear plans to take the country forward, all chasing personal interests, if you want to vote, don't vote because you feel any of them can change Nigeria, they have all been in government and didn't change Nigeria nor their LGAs.

Finally I found someone that thinks the same way I think.

I don't see any of the three doing well. But I feel obi will do worse.

By the way, talking about failures, is there a bigger failure in Nigeria than PDP?
PDP looted the future we are living in today, for 16 years, whatever the country is experiencing all started with PDP, APC simply failed to correct PDP's failure which made them a failure of their own, like I have always said, if PDP did well for 16 years, APC's failure won't cause this much damage to the people.

When you talk about Jonathan, Igbos which he is not one of them believes he did well, they will say he is a good man, a "good man" can't rule Nigeria, Obi will perform worse than Jonathan same as Osibanjo, these men lack what it takes to wrestle power from the cabals, that's the advantage Tinubu holds (provided he is psychologically strong enough to want control), Obi is just another overrated noise maker who doesn't know what it takes to rule Nigeria, Obi can't rule Nigeria, Nigeria will be headed for deeper trenches, it's not about noise, if Buhari will all what was said and done could be hampered by a mere Saraki then what will be a certain before a senate chamber where his party will be a minority among a minority that's also a minority in the Senate, he wants to form the good man by kowtowing before Atiku as his leader, that's to say he can't call Atiku's bluff if he wins the election, he will crawl back to his PDP cabals and they will make sure that no glimmer of hope is left for Nigerians in subsequent elections, Obi can't pull the strings in Nigeria, we will be dealing with a worse GEJ, then they will make that old excuses of his advisers being the cause.

Stop regurgitating what APC told you. Which future did Nigeria have in 1999 when PDP took over?
PDP built the economy especially under OBJ and even though GEJ left the place worse than he met it, it was not as bad as 1999 when PDP took over.
APC on the other hand, instead of improving on what was handed to them, totally messed it up.
I can say if it was APC that took over from military in 1999, Nigerians would have clamored for military rule after four years.

Wrong!! Hiding money in tax haven is morally wrong but it does not qualify as tax evasion in the US. Get yourself properly educated.
However, floating a company to collect tax from the state of which you're sitting governor and awarding your company 14% return will be considered abuse of trust and abuse of office in the US which will fetch such governor an impeachment and jail time.
Also, cornering state's assets and resources to yourself in the name of retirement benefit and bribing lawmakers to pass an obscene pension law for yourself will land you in jail for abuse of office and gross misconduct.

Good question.
Hiding money in tax haven is not necessarily to avoid paying tax. A lot of you ignorant folks just keep hyping not paying tax because that's what the papers you read told you.
Let me ask you a simple question. Do you pay tax on money you keep in your bank here in Nigeria?
The aspect of tax depends on what you do with the money. If you put the money in a trust under a different name in a tax haven, you will probably evade tax in that country not your own country. That's because since the money is not in your name, any business you use the money for will not be counted for you.

Now, you've been harping on hiding money in tax haven. Have you asked yourself why Obi has not been investigated by the Nigerian authorities for the "crime"? At least there should be an investigation to determine if he's guilty or not. Well, there can't be because the so-called tax haven is a sovereign entity in its own and as long as the money is not a proceed of crime or moved with criminal intent, no crime has been committed.

Compare that with a man who corners 14% of a state's tax to himself in the name of consultancy. If it were to be a sane country, dude will be in jail now for abuse of trust and abuse of office. Same dude, cornered state assets like land, buildings etc for himself. That's gross malfeasance and is criminal.
We all should be critical of a man who has held one of the richest states in Nigeria in a vice-like grip for 23 years. It's absurd and reprehensible.

I apologise if what I wrote is too complex for you to handle. The summary of what I wrote is that hiding money in tax haven is not to evade tax in Nigeria as you think. It's to avoid tax on doing business because those countries allow you to do business with your money without paying tax. It's like Dangote building a refinery in Lekki free trade zone. It's to avoid tax too. Is Dangote a criminal?
German govt? What da hell are you talking about now?
It's funny when you accuse Obi of investing state fund in his family business while you hail someone who took over the tax payment of his state.
It's funny you accuse Obi of evading tax while you hail someone who takes 14% of your tax for the past 23 years. If you started working as a civil servant in Lagos State in 1999, you're closer to retirement now. For the past 23 years of your career, every month, you pay a certain percentage of your salary to Tinubu. Can you imagine? You've been slaving for Tinubu to feed fat for the past 23 years!!
What does Tinubu produce that he has multiple private jets.
