The presidential election is fast approaching. It's now less than 100 days to the election. There's been lots and lots of permutations on who will win. I'm really interested in nairalanders projections on who will win in the six geopolitical zones, so I decided to create this thread. I enjoin all nairalanders to post their projections on the percentage of votes each of the three major presidential candidates will garner in the 6 geopolitical zones. You may also post your reasons if you so wish. The nairalander with the closest projections to the actual result after election day will win the naira equivalent of $100. An illustration is shown below: North East You can make your projections from now up until a day before the election. Multiple predictions are not allowed but you can modify your projections up until a day before the election. The Winner will be announced on this thread. 5 Likes |

This space is reserved for the actual winner. And the winner is Buhariguy! He correctly predicted that Tinubu would win followed by Atiku and then Obi. He was also the closest in the points allocated to the 3 candidates. So the 100 dollars goes to Buhariguy. |

buhariguy:The projections are based on percentage with numbers ranging from 0 to 100%. It will be almost impossible for two people to get exact same score unless they copied from each other. And if they do, the prize will go to whomever posted it first. 3 Likes |

My projection SW Tinubu 70% Atiku. 15% Obi. 12% Others 3% SS Tinubu 20% Atiku. 40% Obi. 35% Others 5% SE Tinubu 18% Atiku 32% Obi. 50% NC Tinubu 50% Atiku. 30% Obi 15% Others 5% NE Tinubu 30% Atiku. 50% Obi. 5% Kwakwaso 10% Others 5% NW Tinubu 53% Atiku 25% Obi. 2% Kwakwaso 20% Where I indicate Others mean Kwakwaso will get most of the % allocated to others. However, my projection will be review based on the alignment and reallignment. Kwakwaso may likely collapse his with either of APC or PDP while Peter Obi is likely to collapse for PDP. Regardless the alignment, Tinubu will win the presidential election as he stands the greatest chance of getting 25% in 24states conveniently. Also, States with the highest registered voters are controlled by APC government with the exception of Rivers Oyo. Lagos Kaduna Katsina Kano Borno Will give APC the boost to cover their loss in SE and SS Also, Lagos state is likely to give the highest voters turnout unlike the previous elections where there were voters apathy. Tinubu is the Next president of Nigeria come may 2023, I want all the bastard on NL to know this and rest, he will win 3 to 4 region, or 3win and 1 2nd, wining south west, North central and north west because of Buhari influence in the north west, then 2nd in north east.... Obi will do well only in south east and second in the south south, forget about Emperor Wike effect in the south south Atiku will still win here. Apart from Benue Obi can only come second in Taraba where there is Christian domain. North central has 6 state Tinubu winning 3, Atiku winning 2 then Obi winning 1, the most populous region is North west and Obi name is not on the 3 horse here, Tinubu Atiku and Kwakwaso will slog it out here, northeast this is Atiku strong hold but shetima in Bornu, Buni in Yobe and inuwa in Gombe, Tinubu stand a chance of second, Atiku will claim Bauchi, Adamawa and probably Gombe and Taraba vote will be split into 3, Atiku Obi and Tinubu, so in all Presidency is returning to the south. 5 Likes 1 Share |
