Re: Dear Poetry by mrchange1(m): 1:47pm On Aug 09, 2011
literary works brings out the innermost thoughts of the writer. cheesy
Re: Dear Poetry by Goldieluks: 6:11pm On Aug 09, 2011
Yea it does, and it brings out, unspoken emotions,in a silent manner.
Re: Dear Poetry by Nobody: 7:44pm On Aug 16, 2011
Hi Goldieluks,

I slightly agree with point of view. But mind you, poetry and literature far exceeds the totem pole of unspoken emotions. Poetry & literature represents an eternal symbolic thread of the human soul which is ever vibrant, undying even when babies steal their first breathe from their mothers' last and when man returns to dust only to reawaken in a world of blissful poetry redefined!
Re: Dear Poetry by Nobody: 7:54pm On Aug 16, 2011
I guess you should see poetry beyond emotions next time. Emotions could be deceiving, turning men into blurred weaklings. If only we can tap from the true root of all emotions, then our true appreciation and understanding of the beauty of poetry and literature will remain ever green on the sea shores of our hearts! Have a nice day and sleep on the wings of positive emotions. I acquit you to sleep! shocked

I remain yours in this "emotional duel"!
Re: Dear Poetry by Goldieluks: 7:36pm On Aug 17, 2011
Poetry defers,

we have the poetry of emotions, life, nature, colours, animals and whatever, but am mine is mostly centred on the one of 'emotions' and
the best emotional poetry to be written is the one that emerges from the heart.I write whatever i feel and it makes it unique and special.thank you.
Re: Dear Poetry by Nobody: 9:01pm On Aug 17, 2011
Hi Goldieluks,

I share your i beliefs in the kind of poetry your heart palpitates for. I guess its kind of cool. I love emotional poetry as well just that mine boils for "a 1000 degrees centigrade" and it probably burns real bad. I guess i would love to share one with you but maybe next time. This for you that you might sleep like snow-white:

"As your eyes pleads guilty to sleep

As your feets wriggle in rhythmic rhymes on your sheets

Let sleep take you on its wings

That you might be locked in mortal embrace with "Catapulting emotions"

I remain yours in this "emotional duel"! cool
Re: Dear Poetry by Goldieluks: 9:45pm On Aug 17, 2011
Your poetry is good, but i find it kind of difficult to be soared by it,
if i could touch the stars in the sky,i would staple it in your heart.
Because the sound of your words are like a broken string of a guitar.
Re: Dear Poetry by Ayoobscom(m): 1:43pm On Aug 18, 2011
The colorful vapor in poetry that glitz like rainbow

The dangling stanzas thrown from misty yards

An annoying beauty from the dungeon allegories

Such like plucking the moon and paste in the eyes

Such as sculpting the heart into gigantic image as visible as the sun

Such like being to heavens without crossing the whimsy windows

Is why i chose not the mother's breast for a suckle

Why i bought not a fleece sandal for a buckle

But the torrent words that bleeds from my physic ankle

Is more gratifying-such that makes even the orb to cackle

Poem is painting the abstract into an even or uneven visible and admirable picture.
Re: Dear Poetry by Goldieluks: 2:51pm On Aug 18, 2011
wow this is good^^ now i feel challenge to come up with something. cheesy
Re: Dear Poetry by Nobody: 3:29pm On Aug 18, 2011
Hi Goldieluks,

You sound crotchety! You call this poetry: "As your eyes pleads guilty to sleep

As your feets wriggle in rhythmic rhymes on your sheets

Let sleep take you on its wings

That you might be locked in mortal embrace with "Catapulting emotions".

That isn't poetry in my world. Its just a "Guitarish Contribution". You want something challenging Guldieluks? Checkout my entries @ the bridports! I don't do exhibitions, i do competitions!
Re: Dear Poetry by Ayoobscom(m): 4:31pm On Aug 18, 2011
@Goldieluks\@politrix
you both could be very good in poetry. There's really no point arguing on contents or sounding disdainful of each other, instead pour what you got and let the palms clap for you.

One
Only one
Just one thing
There's only one thing i do
Apart from breathing
And that is poetry

So pour what it is
That is itching plow
And let readers eyes
Begin to glow!

Goodpeople!

My pen is raging
Over the calories on this juvenile wall
Yet not enough to make the ink fall

My pen seldom bleed without coin
I hung it afloat at a hurdle height like mango
Where it dangles searching for gold and spoils

Well ;
if your day lengthens
And there's no game gale
You can thump at my arty door
And my clever pen will rise aquick
And dish you the lines like fish

To garnish your day
To paint your monotonic ceilings
Into a thrilling portal glass that lasts

All you have to do is tap my arty door
The bolty lock will rid and my pen will dance for coin

It has danced at the golden mall for queens
Also for kings at a crowning Ransom

For birthdays or wedding anniverse
Or for loved one's in closet or at atlas miles
All you have to do is call.+1238097348849

In the 20th century
There's a rising sun unseen
A throbbing drum untored
His name is
'PEN'QUICK' and he welcome you all.

POETRY I CALL IT FOOD FOR IMMORTALITY .

i reckon you may be talking about ''sex'' here,

You own a golden pen,
and your door might not be knocked by every stranger,
why not open your door to your closest companion,
in that way ,it would be appreciated and loved.

cheers!

@goldielucks

You got it hell wrong all the way,
Those lines are not in any form referring to sexuality or errotism as misconstrued

Your interpretation got me thinking you are around 12 to 15 years old, I don't mean any offence but seriously it's quite shallow.

Well, I won't interpret now, i will give you the grace to read through again.Try don't give up

Poetry
I sometimes define
As what I feel
Or will like to.
Sometimes
A mirror
Words
Reflecting mind
Images side by side
Same. Different.
At other times
A Dream
The world beyond
And now.
Distinctions
Between real
And imagined
Blurred, lost
In verse.
But at no time
Is Poetry ever
What is.

Goldieluks: Literature/Poetry is beautiful,
it makes the tender hearted full of life,
it gives room for personal expression,
it brings out the other side of your view about life,
it brings out the unspoken and the unknown side of you,
it engages your expression in a different aroma of your usual scent,
it energises the heart to do and say more,
it brings out new inventions in you.

I Love Literature and Poetry.

Truly, you have it in your blood.
