I am afraid, like several other posts of yours is the past, the post even on this page here makes a very poor and doctrinally(men) laden attempt at providing a scriptural response to what seems a decent question to ask.

Salvation is not at all narrow. Instead, the gate that leads to True life(leads to Heaven) is Narrow because it is fraught with rules(requirements), all mandated by Jesus Christ. The Broad gate, on the other hand, is broad because it is not fraught with similar laws and as such is an open expressway for those who refuse to obey the rules stipulated by Jesus Christ, the one who is King in the Kingdom of God.

Those teachings and commandments(requirements) are contained in the Gospels as given by Jesus Christ and as Jesus Christ made clear, it is only those who do as He commands that will enter in through the Gate that is He - John 10 vs 1 - 15
