If this is what you think then you don't seem to understand what is going on.

Russia does not need more lands ... For NATO to be able to invade Russia and have an upper hand, they need Ukraine.
If you look at the Geography, you'll know that it is the only point from which Russia is vulnerable. Napoleon used that very place to invade Russia and get to Moscow and the Mongols did same.

Taking back LPR and DPR plus a buffer zone gives Russia the upper hand in any future attempt to invade it.

So tell me, who needs land grab and has been busy grabbing lands for the better part of 25 years?

Nations that are not benefitting from western influences should blame themselves. Corruption kills. China, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan are benefitting from influences of the west.
