The United Kingdom (UK) coordinator, Nigerian Diaspora Youth Coalition, NDYC, Comrade Kevin Omokaro, has congratulated Dr. (Mrs) Loretta Ogboro-Okor, on the occasion of her birthday.

In a statement on Sunday, Omokaro described the celebrant as “a woman of substance and capacity, a pure Edo breed cum global achiever, progressive woman with so many paths, an audacious Amazon, and a philanthropist.”

“Thank you for taking care of everyone you come in contact with. As you add another year today, we pray Almighty God to grant you many more fruitful years, the grace and strength needed to carry on in your purpose-driven mission of making the world a better place for mankind.”

Dr. Ogboro-Okor is United Kingdom trained Consultant Obstetrician Gynecologist, a global goodwill Ambassador, an Author, Motivational Speaker, Women and Youth health advocate, Educationist, Social Entrepreneur, ardent Blogger, and good governance advocate.

She is the current President of the University of Benin Alumni Association, United Kingdom (UBAAUK) branch, the Lead of Edo Focus Group Worldwide and The Edo Diaspora Working Group, and co-founded the Ashanti Graham Health & Education Initiative Foundation, a charity with the vision, “21st Century Health Care for Africa.”

Dr. Ogboro-Okor earned her MBBS degree from the University of Benin. She has an MSc in Public Health Research and another in Clinical Education from the Universities of Edinburgh and Sheffield Hallam both in the UK.

She is currently doing her PhD in Law and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University. she is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists in the UK, and has worked in the National Health Service, for over 15 years.
