PRESIDENT OF RIVERS STATE STUDENTS EMERGES SECRETARY COUNCIL OF 36 STATE PRESIDENTS AT THE 2022 MAIDEN CONFERENCE HELD IN ABUJA.


Comr.Precious Monmon the Executive President National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) NAT'L Secretariat emerged as the secretary Council of 36 states presidents at the maiden conference held in Abuja.

The forum is a body for the National Students Union Presidents of the 36 state in Nigeria including the FCT,The theme of the 2022 Maiden Conference is tagged 'RE-EVALUATING RE-NEGOTIATING THE KEY SOCIAL POLICIES FOR A WORKABLE NIGERIA WITH EMPHASIS ON PUTTING ASUU STRIKE TO BED, IMMEDIATE NECESSITY OF CURTAILING RAVAGING INSECURITY ,RESTREINGTING THE NAIRA IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET AND THE LEGACY OF AN UNCOMPROMISED 2023 GENERAL ELECTION'

Addressing the press yesterday, Comr.Monmon Precious condemned in totality the the ongoing ASUU strike which have truncated the academic activities across the nation, stressing that the council of 36 state will do everything within the ambit of the law in ensuring that Nigerian Students returns back to school in no distant time.
The following persons were also elected into different offices in the Council Executive and Zonal Coordinators.

1) Comr. Rachael Mojirola Balogun - Chairperson (Kogi State)

2) Comr. Monmon Precious - Secretary (Rivers State)

3) Comr.Samaila S Fola - Treasurer (Zamfara state)

4) Comr. Mohmmond Abaker GH - P. R. O (Bauchi State)

5) Comr. Umukro Marvis U - Financial Secretary (Imo State)

6) Comr. Olalekan A - Vice Chairperson ( Oyo State)


However,the cordinators of the six Geopolitical zones are authomatic excos in the council.
