To break the jinx of politically induced violence in Ikono/Ini Local Government Areas, Dr. Glory Edet makes youth inclusion a priority in most of her activities. She understands the frustrations that result in strife and applies the tool of consistent consultation with youth stakeholders. Like a balm massaging the hurting bones, word of a woman seasoned with the salt of wisdom, sincerity and practical demonstration of inclusiveness has healed many young men who before now thought the only currency they can trade with for recognition and relevance was violence.

Today's young men in Ini and Ikono are repositioned. They are periodically empowered through scholarship, seed grants for businesses, craftsmanship, and others exposed to leadership responsibilities at different rungs.

She is never a practitioner of election season "empowerment", which is deceptive. Her generosity is in and out of season.

This is her trademark. She is poised to replicating and sustaining same as Ikono/Ini Representative in the National Assembly.
