There are several methods couples use to prevent unwanted pregnancy. These methods include use of condom, withdrawal method, use of spermicidal cream or tablet, use of contraceptive pills, rhythm method(safe period) etc
Withdrawal method is not reliable and it's not advisable because there are some sperm cells that may be released without the man knowing.
How did our great grand fathers and great grand mothers prevent unwanted pregnancies during their time since withdrawal method is not reliable and other methods have not been introduced then?

what do you consider education Learning farming techniques, weather seasons for farming, storage and processing, some parts of human body etc was education passed down from their parents na. They knew about safe period from discharges from the vagina and also withdrawal method. I have friends who use withdrawals and has never made a wman pregnant

You are right... education is not all about attending Western institution... A local farmer who knows when to sow and reap his crop is educated in that area.

Polygamy.
When you give birth, your husband leaves you to focus on other wives until it is time for you to get pregnant again.
