Nigerian procurement agents in Istanbul face stiffer times ahead of Turkish elections next year

- Ikamet renewal on a massive decline
- Deportations now rampant
- Turkish shops suffer low patronage

Ikamet is the Turkish residence permit, many documented Nigerians have recently have their renewal application declined as well putting many on alert of what is to come despite legally residing in the country.

This incessant police raid has drastically affected their own businesses which is already hit by the Nigerian economic factors which has hugely slowed down demand and patronage.

There have been high profile arrests and deportations of undocumented procurement agents within the Nigeria Cargo rank in the past few weeks.

The Turkish immigration policy has been largely considered inconsistent over the past 4 years, leaving migrants with a lot to consider, It is sincerely not certain which visa would allow you get a resident permit now.

Many Nigerians who are desperate to relocate over to Turkey are advised to either reconsider their plans or at least hold on until after the Turkish electioneering year.
