We need to change thIs winner-takes-all electoral system. It's making enemies of friends, tearing families and tribes apart, dividing us in several other ways and uniting us only when we divide ourselves into camps to fight among ourselves.

The system is not fostering a sense of oneness. Wouldn't the proportional representation be better? In my opinion, it would.

If it's used to share seats among political parties according to vote share and to also share appointments, everyone who identifies with a political party would feel represented.

The plurality system we are practicing at present, is causing so much disunity among us. Those who don't win go home with nothing and take the back seat reserved for the marginalized.

No one likes to be marginalized and no one likes to be ignored. Everyone seeks recognition and acceptance, unfortunately the present electoral system recognizes not ALL except FEW.

So people have to fight dirty to be on the list that can take only a FEW.
