How Do You Apologize As A Nigerian Parent? by Gaddafi1: 5:14pm On Sep 07, 2022 |
Most Nigerian parents will always find it difficult to apologize even when they realized that the child was wrongly beaten. My mum will say.... 'Is it because of this small beating, oya clean your eyes'. My dad will say... 'If I hear pim again'. Please let's hear your experiences while growing up in a Nigerian family. |

My mum wouldn’t say sorry directly… for instance if she made me angry and she prepares food and I didn’t want to eat, she’d be like ‘maje maje maje o gbudo ma je ounje yen’ (eat that food x3, you must make sure you eat that food’ with a stern look and a bit sorry look. 1 Like |
