Demand for crude oil will always be there. I foresee a price of around $60 at today prices as the trend for the next 30 years. The demand for it is inelastic.

A reduced price even increases demand for it. It very inelastic.

Most importantly, OPEC will always work very hard to keep the price at levels favorable to the cartel.
