Please a friend kindly needs an advice. His wife gave birth in the u.s some years ago and now the Husband is going for a visa Renewal soon. Please does anyone have such experience?

This is quite common. Any reason is an issue? He is the father of an American citizen and he must have applied as such. He has also been to USA before hence he needs a renewal. Except there was an issue during the wife child birth, he has no reason to panic or solicit for guidance.

Thank you but he wants to know if he will be asked for receipts of the childbirth cos it's seems they have misplaced them and he is going to the embassy alone without his wife or kid

Clearer now. Usually it's the wife that will be Asked copies of the receipt or statement from the hospital indicating 'PAID'. The wife can call or email the hospital for their bill/statement

Did the wife after given birth remaining in US or returned back to Nigeria

She returned to Nigeria. Infact she spent only 3 months in the u.s

Were her bills paid in full, leaving no balance?
