The senator representing Anambra South ,Senator lfeanyi Ubah has survived an assassination attempt by unidentified arms men. The Senator's convoy were attacked on their way at Nkwo Enugwu-Ukwu.

He was ambushed by heavily armed assassins who opened fire on his convoy. Some of his aides were killed including some police officers.

However, the senator managed to escape as his car was riddled with bullets.

The viral videos showing on the internet shows the gory pictures at the murder scene. As at the time of this report,men of the Nigerian security forces were yet arrive the scene for implementation of necessary security actions.
