This is what the average Nigerian does not appreciate: Truth and criticism.

Op has just drawn attention to the unpatriotic, animalistic and wicked tendencies of our people.

How can any sane person dump refuse indiscriminately?

Should he wait until it turns to a heap before raising alarm?

Op well done bro...

So it's "Ijo and Yoruba" busy dumping refuse next to a flyover in the pictures shared by the OP? Were you there to ask the trash dumpers where they came from? And how many "Ijo and Yoruba" are there in the entirety of Abia state anyway?

There is nothing in the world you lot can't blame outsiders for. I bet even if you woke up with hemorrhoids tomorrow, you'd find a way to blame "Aboki", "Ijo", "Yoruba" or even "Tinubu" for your sore backside.

Never seen a group of people, so primitive and so backward minded in this world.

That is the only flyover in the state for christ sake. Instead of the people should organise a cleaning calendar. They should be taking turn to wiping it clean with their tongue from time to time. To make it sparkling clean.

Ikpeazu was right. These guys don't need cars, talkmore of been worthy of having a flyover. Na bicycle and Leg-mousine fit them. Very primitive set of people that are suppose to be worshipping a bottle just like the bush-men in the gods must be crazy.

Given how often certain groups on here blame Yorubas and other outsiders for everything wrong in their lives, it's hard to tell where serious claims stop and sarcasm starts without a "/s" or other such indicator. The notion that Yorubas are to blame for litter in Abia wouldn't even be the most outrageous one I'd seen in the last month, let alone over the years - just look at all the buffoons lauding the lunatic Uju Anya for blaming Britain's figurehead monarch for alleged "genocide" in a civil war fought in a country which had already been a republic for 4 years when the fighting started, as if Queen Elizabeth II personally forced Ojukwu to go and start something anyone with sense would have realised from the start could only end in disaster.

YorubaYouth:

My beloved Brother, I really Pray that ALMIGHTY would Help Igbos and Yorubas to see and Treat ourselves as Southern Brothers that we truly Are before ot becomes too late. Yoruba-Igbo Unity is the Permanent Solution to Nigeria's Problem, myopic Ego and Pride would only make their common Enemy to futher Enslave them longer. This is the obviously Truth that self-deceitful wishful thinkers deny.

Personally, I have nothing against Obi but the truth that we all have to face is that Fulani will never hand over Power to Igbos, we all know who Controls INEC that will Decide the Winner, The Military, etc. We can chest-beat all day, it would all amount to self-deceitfulness! Let's not deceive ourself if we Refuse to que behind the most Fulani-Favoured Southerner. The Memory of January 29, 1966 is always Fresh on Fulanis minds. In fact that they were the very first to Introduce merciless Bloodshed Coup into the growing Nigerian Politics: Sadauna of Sokoto, Tafawa Balewa, etc that were brutally killed made them ever took that Vow against Igbos. They are not Yorubas that easily Forgives and gets taken for Granted for Kindness.

It is not a question of whether it was out of Satanic Greed or not, the Coup was a very Big Mistake that Igbos made and they need to be sincere enough to Accept that they greatly erred and be Humble enough to Tender contrite Apology to both Yorubas and Fualnis because "Pride goes before a Fall." Only repentant Humility could Raise them up to finally get what they tried to get by Deception and Bloodshed. This would have Divinely removed Spiritual Law of Divine Justice and also make Yorubas support them even if Fualnis still continue to Nurse Vengance.

If they feel too Proud to Apologize, their only Wise Option would be to Team up with Yorubas to achieve their Biafra or even their Nigeiran Presidency. This is a very bitter Truth, the best Bet for Igbos is to support Tinubu Yoruba Presidency (Tinubu was almost killed by Fualnis too during MKO Era, that's why his massively benevolent Actions toward Igbos as Lagos Governor shows that he sees Igbos far more as his Brothers than Fulanis. Forget the Politics that is currently going on) and then Power could once again be passed to them as Obasanjo did, now it would be a Full Igbo VP or President. Only Yoruba can truly Handover Power to Igbo. But they are just too Bitterly Evious of Yorubas to see that this is the only Wisdom they should Apply.

At best, what they are currently doing is exactly what some Fualnis hope they will do, to Viciously divide Southern Votes that Tinubu would have massively Sweep.

Some deep-thinkers among them know this Truth, but I don't know why they Hate Yorubas so much to the Level of self-Destructive Hatred. I was completely shocked seeing Igbos that said that they would rather ensure Presidency goes back to Fualni instead of to watch Yoruba become President, how more bitterly and eviously Suicidal could a Tribe be?! Very sad to see that they are too hate-eaten to see that a Yoruba President is far more likely to help them become President just like Obasanjo did or to even help them Achieve their Biafra by breaking up Nigeria sooner than any Fulani could ever do. Southern Nigerians, Be Wise! Unite before it becomes too late!
Hate speech. How many years imprisonment does this laggard deserve

Most u give excuse for everything? Can’t u pple sometimes shut up and stop sounding stupid.

A newly commissioned flyover has turned to a dumping site in our southeast and u don’t feel ashamed of it? If that place isn’t kept clean is it in the independent Biafra land that it will be clean?

Newly Commissioned Abia Flyover Turned To Dumping Site (Photo)

The newly commissioned Abia State flyover has been turned to dumping site by residents of the area.

9News Nigeria correspondent reports that the residents of the dumped their wastes beside the newly built Flyover.

The only flyover in Abia State took Governor Okezie Ikpeazu seven to complete it and also generated mixed reactions.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Environment in Abia State has stated that it uncovered the devilish antics of the enemies of progress in Abia plotting to hire trucks and drop waste on and around the Osisioma Flyover which was recently commissioned by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and his Rivers State Counterpart Nyesom Wike.

According to the statement, the plot which is designed to make mess of the developmental strides of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is already dead on arrival as security agencies has been put on alert to apprehend the culprits.

The Government further warned those behind "the devilish plots to desist with it immediately, as anyone apprehended in this wicked act will be prosecuted."

Don’t trivialize this issues by attributing to a particular ethnic group. This underlines the core failure of governance in this nation where government’s social infrastructures are so inadequate. From Lagos to Aba, lokoja to Ibadan, the same dirt mound along the roads, poor waste disposal and collection system, poor drainage systems, poorly built road network etc etc. it’s a shame we have not figured out governance of the people by the people.

What’s so hard in building proper roads with proper drainages too? What’s so hard in setting up a proper thought out waste disposal mechanism for the society? They so often blame the rains. And the gullible will take their excuses. Doesn’t it rain Miami, why are their roads not washed off during the hurricane season?

They all come to governance with tertiary qualification that are absolute useless, claiming to be engineers and accountant and can’t find their arse hole in the dark with a torchlight in hand. What a shame?

No sane mind will see the state of Nigeria and won’t go mad.

There are nations were the terrain and environment are so harsh but they still
Make a fine living out of it. They don’t blame the gods.

It's the same almost in every city in Nigeria. Poor waste management is the highest contributor to this, and there is much the ministry of environment can do to cub this.
