Defections in APC dangerous, ex-aspirants tell Tinubu

Amid the defections that have hit the All Progressives Congress in recent weeks, all former aspirants of the party under the aegis of APC360, have called on its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to urgently set measures to halt the “dangerous” trend.

They called on Tinubu to set in motion a strategy that can halt the unwelcome development.

The APC360, consisting of aspirants who contested for various elective posts at the parties primaries from the 36 states of the federation and Abuja, raised the alarm after an emergency meeting in Abuja.

The National Secretary of the APC360, Chris Enoch, in a statement, said supporters of the APC were deeply concerned about the fact that the party hierarchy have still not arrested the situation.

Aside thousands of supporters at state level, more than eight Senators have dumped the APC, including the Senate Majority and Minority Leaders.

Enoch said as a critical stakeholder, the group cannot close its eyes against the dangerous trend sweeping away party members like the flood of Mesopotamia.

He said, “It is also hazardous and harmful to the health and wealth of our great party, particularly when we are preparing for a national election.

“We as members of the only pressure group that has invested in this great party through the direct purchase at expression of interest and nomination forms, etc. are concerned because of our belief that the massive decamping which is being surreptitiously tarried out is planned and calculated to frustrate the coasting to the victory of Tinubu at the in-coming general election by those who have scores to settle with the party or are holding grudges and to this end are working against the party.

“Some of these defection cases are sponsored by some powerful members who feel dissatisfied with the mood and manner by which the party has treated them with the conduct of the primaries while others are borne out of the allegation that the party hierarchy abandoned and relegated them into the background after victory not acknowledging or compensating them for their huge efforts and heavy commitment to the party before victory.

At the House of Representatives, more than 25 lawmakers have also defected.
“We as vested stakeholders in the party can no longer stay akimbo and pretend that things are okay, while large number of significant members particularly aspirants from 2015, 2013, and 2022 primaries, are decamping to strengthen opposition parties which give them listening ears.”

The defections has not even started.
The real defections will soon be around then you will understand better.

The big difference is that, the North has a collective goal while the South has more of individual and selfish goal.
Nothing can stop the defections.

U said it all
The south is divided
The North is rallying behind Atiku
Atiku seems to be the one inheriting Buhari Northern votes not Tinubu that we thought since he is an APC member.
So in reality Peter Obi emergence is not really a problem anymore for Atiku since he is already making aggressive inroads in the North, Tinubu is the one that is having problem with Obi emergence, if Atiku has the North on lockdown, Tinubu will need to look beyond
south west and look towards the south South and South East to poll at least 60% of their total votes in those two regions, which will we all know it is not possible, and the Muslim Muslim ticket is not helping matters for Tinubu in south South and South East regions.
Atiku will win the North and still pick up significant votes in the South, alongside Tinubu and Obi.
And ur guess is as good as mine Atiku will poll more overall votes across the country to be elected President, it is not rocket science, it is the current reality on ground.
Tinubu has to step down for Obi
Or
Obi step down for Tinubu

The two of them will never step down for each other. Do you get?
Let me tell you, go and write it down Tinubu will rather step down for Atiku than to step down for Obi.
For South-South Atiku has it already.

The North is not fighting again now, they are almost very calm now annd it is all for a reason.
Except God says no, 2023 is already in the bag for Atiku.

Tribalism kills Nigeria's politics.

In my opinion, only FEW TRIBES CAN CHEERFULLY VOTE FOR ANOTHER TRIBE

One thing I know is that Northerners can never betray their brother Atiku over Tinubu. They will all decamp to PDP and support Atiku including Kwankwaso. The next Election is between Atiku and Peter Obi.

Drugnubu is going nowhere. Buhari's 8 years will be a soft landing compare to what will happen if Nigeria vote this corrupt, incompetent old sick man.

He'll see shege by 2023. Let his sycophants and brainless urchins be deceiving him. Having a drug Lord and a terrorist financier as a President and Vice will see Nigerians running to Somalia for succour and that won't happen. God has already forbidden BATthing!!!

The druggie and Agbado Master have been scammed. Tinubu is not inheriting Buhari's block votes. Northerners already supporting their own.

Even the foolish idea of choosing a muslim muslim ticket is not helping shakky shakky master. Sheik Gunmi called it wayo.

More tears for Agbado urchins
