Worst part of it is that Keyamo says Buhari has done well and that Tinubu would continue from where Bubu stopped. hahaha

Even Tinubu himself said that he has no business with stabilizing forex after your salaries are paid in naira.

Nigerians will wish to bring back Bubu should Tinubu win. You heard it here first

Nothing is caused by this APC Federal Govt

But every bad thing was caused by the PDP Federal Govt abi?

Continue wasting your APC sponsored megabytes trying to launder the image of the worst govt in the history of the country.

The current FG just announced that there is no money for ANY capital project in 2023.

A thing that has never happened since the amalgamation of 1914

APC will forever be associated with failure in the history books of this country. Lol.

Nothing you will be able to do about that even if you continue selling your soul for the rest of your life

I know interpreting this is too difficult to understand for the lazy youth who idles away on the social media 24/7 from January to december to make a career in jesting and entertainment, this inflation is not caused by the Federal Govt and if you can just quit your idleness and live a productive lifesfyle, this temporary high inflation locally and globally can be a blessing for you to earn more.

The basket does not have all the goods and services in the country and some of the composite items like energy-related costs, school needs etc maybe temporary price increases

So why then do government make policies if it doesn't affect inflation and the economy at large

This comment shows that you know absolutely nothing about the economy

Government is the biggest influencer of the economy abi dem no teach you dar one too for school

This administration lacks foresight and invested in the wrong business, leading to extensive insecurity, and border closure while not providing adequately for local production to even have what looks like competition to the international brand

But you are here talking as if our economic woes started with Russia and Ukraine war.

You are insulting the sensibilities of Nigerian youths.
Firstly, from what statistical source did you dig that Nigerian youths are lazy?
You must be kidding..
And how dare you exonerate the government from inflation, if not that you are shamelessly driven by bias? Who makes the policies and the enabling environment for the productivity you are talking about?
Have you checked the indices and conclude that the government isn't much to blame?
Nigeria is currently unstable in terms of security and no thanks to the disposition of those who ought to tackle it head on and squarely.
Education is gradually relegated to the background, mainly due to bad leadership that cares less since they send their kids abroad.
Power generation and supply is extremely low and inadequate for any meaningful productivity and fuel (PMS, AGO and DPK) that drive production is in a regime shrouded in secrecy (stories like today there's subsidy, tomorrow it's partial subsidy, another day it's completely removed)
Government of policy somersault that leads to instability is one you exonerate, continue!

I am not a lazy youth, so please educate this learned middle age man on how Nigeria happen to have very high inflation, especially when the main cause of inflation in many other countries is due to the high cost of food and energy which Nigeria has in abundant.

Inflation rises in Nigeria amid fuel scarcity and insecurity.

The hike in inflation means the purchasing power of Nigerians, some of whom live on a monthly minimum wage of less than $50, is declining.
Inflation in Africa’s most populous country soared to 16.8 percent in April, driven by fuel price increases and accelerating costs for food,

including bread and cereals, newly released data from Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has shown.

Annual food inflation rose to 18.4 percent from 17.2 percent in March, sending the headline rate to 16.8 percent, the highest in eight months, according to the data released on Monday.

Government policies and how govt is run by the political class have a major impact on inflation. There is no dollar here and there. Yet our oil production is reducing. Is our oil production not meant to be increasing to at least reduce the impact of low dollar shortage?

Government don't regulate the price of diesel. I agree. But if the govt brings in a package that reduces the cost on transportation, won't it reduce food inflation?
