From what I understand the impounded vehicles were not reclaimed by the owners as they may not have paid the fines and demurrages incurred in the impound yard.

This is normal practice in the civilized world .

Your car gets impounded, you pay to have it released back to you. Failure to do so , leads to the govt auctioning it .

This is even fair. In the US you will get your licence withdrawn and banned from driving if you committed such reckless driving.
If you have been to the US you will know how near impossible it is to get around without a car of your own outside of major cities like Jew York with their urban transit system.

Having your licence withdrawn is akin to having food taken from you as you can't commute to the work place without a car from the suburbs.

u know d drill

After misbehaving n it’s time to face d punishment they start playing victim card

Imagine committing crime in dubai n blaming d government
They claim Nigeria is bad but even when they go abroad they still commit crime n blame d government

There was a time I checked a thread in travel section n an Igbo guy said he wants to go abroad for study n also add powder business (drugs)

Imagine the mindset he has even before leaving d country n when he get caught buhari should b blamed

You can do the following;

1. Visit the Nigerian Army Depot and enlist as a recruit.

2. Finish the 6mths training

3. Get assigned to Lagos

4. Get hold of a vehicle and drive against Traffic in the ever busy third mainland bridge

Lagos is so terrible but half of your state is residing there as economic refugees.

Ungrateful OSU

now many are beginning to understand the words of Ahmadu bello

What northerners saw in 1960 it’s unfortunate we Yorubas are just seeing it now

Ahmadu bello said n I quote “help an Igbo man when he’s in need n once he’s comfortable he will start calling for your head”

Isn’t it true with happenings today?
The shit they do in Yoruba land can they try it in d north, ordinary quit notice their elders start running around n calling themselves northern igbos

I pray it’s not too late before we Yorubas get it right

That is how they keep having issues even abroad n we could see how one of them was beaten to death in broad daylight in Italy that day

This is a demonic lie from the pit of hell, they owners were fined heavily and at times the fines were almost the value of the cars. lot of people preferred buying back their cars at auction than paying outrageous and demonic fines that is not traceable and no receipts is issued . The same task force will reduce the fines for people from Lagos or those that know police senior officials.
This is worse than what Fulani bandits are doing to travellers, some of the one ways are not delineated or marked out . Doing a wrong u turn is also classified as one way .

This is the biggest crime against Nigeria by the most crime inflected APC government of Lagos State

Once you break traffic rules whatever you see take it in good faith. You had an option of not breaking traffic rules.

This will be the consequences of traffic violators in Peter Obi government.
