Shitcoins are cryptocurrencies with little to no value. A shitcoin is a cryptocurrency that does not have much utility and has made an impression in the market because of its low price or some other feature.

These cryptocurrencies often appear after popular currencies like bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin, existed on the market. Shitcoins usually do not have any immediate use case and can be created for various purposes such as marketing purposes (e-sports), projects requiring seed funding (initial coin offering)

There are many new shitcoins that have been popping up in the past few months. Most new shitcoins don’t have adequate security measures and most of them disappear after a few months because they didn’t gain enough popularity to stay on this list for long.

There are some shitcoins such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Meta Pets, etc that seem to be doing much better than others with no signs of stopping their success.
