Nigerians May Shock APC, PDP In 2023 - Obaseki by bennybuhari: 4:56pm On Sep 20, 2022
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has called on political leaders across the country to step up and assuage the pains of Nigerians on many fronts due to poor governance and inefficiency or expect a surprise from the electorate in the forthcoming 21023 general elections.

Obaseki, while speaking to journalists in Benin City, noted that Nigerians are fed up with the inefficiencies and failures of government officials and other representatives and will reject the same if nothing is done to change the narrative.

He said the people are closely watching the political situation in the country and are ready to shock political parties with their new political orientation.

Obaseki stated, “I am sure that we are all watching the development in the country very closely, particularly the evolving political development. It's clear now that Nigerians are getting fed up with the government and those that represent them in government. We can see that in their reactions in social media and where their actions and emotions are headed.

"For us as a government and representatives of our people, we would be hurting ourselves if we ignore the changes that are coming and believe that things are still the same. We will all be shocked as we are beginning to see.

“People are now beginning to realise that they need to demand more from people in government and those managing their resources and commonwealth; people will go out to vote their choice or interests.”

He added, “No political party today can beat its chest and say they will win or have a clear victory in the next election in the country.

“People are watching and the only reason why people will leave their houses to polling units is because there is a reason to either vote for or against something. If they have not benefited, they are not likely to come out on Election Day.”

The governor further warned, “People will ask questions saying: you have not done what you promised us, you have not delivered; people will react. Nobody will be spared. The new group will come in and will not spare the civil servants; they will put pressure on them and politicians will be kicked out of office.

“We are lucky in Edo State because we saw it coming and have laid down the roadmap and anticipated it coming but our challenge is that many people don't believe it, thinking we have time and things will still happen the way they usually do.”

Atiku and Tinubu have assumed positions in the country, and they are still stubborn political grasshoppers and do not want to relinquish power to a younger person. Nigeria can regain her political problem if all these old brigades are pushed out of the system. Nigerians will never forgive themselves in 2023 if they make the costly mistake of retaining these old brigades.

Tinubu should be apologizing to Nigerians for the calamity he brought upon her and not coming out to contest for presidency. He has no shame but I assure him he will disgraced at the polls next year. After the monumental disaster called Buhari, Nigeria cannot afford another leader whose driving motivation for the presidency is to merely fulfil a lifelong dream.

Tinubu has a right to pursue his ambition but not at the expense of poor and long-suffering Nigerians already counting down to the days when Buhari’s nuisance will be escorted out of Aso Rock. The 2023 election should be a turning point. Recruiting another bumbler like Tinubu as president jeopardizes that chance. We can all agree that Nigeria deserves better than a candidate without a viable record of administrative success beyond the cheap propaganda.

Peter Obi will end up winning and will be sworn-in as the President of Nigeria come May 2023.

In saner clime Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki shouldnt be a Governor of a state. He should be somewhere on a stage dress as a clown and making jokes that will make kids giggle, not even worthy of laughing at.

The man is defintely deluded and off-reality. He reasons and think like under-age kids who can be swayed and deceive easily by sweet and biscuit ..I blame Oshiomole strong handedness of political matter and not calculative enough, if not we wouldnt be reading of this clown, saying nonsense on political matter because he won't be a participant in it.

A double-faced man using both side of the mouth to talk, and the two leg to walk different way same-time. He is just tilting his allegiance from one place to another, with the hope that anybody that later wins will have him in his good book afterall.

I pity Atiku so badly, he is surrounded by deceptive two-face clowns. Man has nothing to get in the south.

Tinubu must be writing his first presidential speech right now.

Cheers, Jagaban. Cheers!

I've been longing for this kind of utterances for so long but nothing of such was heard from our comedians of government.

They set the country on blazing inferno and then pretend as though nothing has happened. They've broken all negative records of development indices and are even aspiring to remain in power for eternity.

You can imagine if these rare set of sluggards continue their detrimental mandate in this regressive order what the country's shape will be in eight years.

I so much wish Nigerians shock the two useless parties for their melodramatic leadership style.
