Kremlin Announces Referendum votes to recognize breakaway Ukraine regions as part of Russia – Full Speech (video)

The Donbass region is prepping for a referendum starting 23rd - 27th September, 2022. If you have been following the crisis in Ukraine for the last eight ( years, you may have an idea about the implications of this historic moment.

Although this may be looking like the final game changer of the crisis since 2014, noone is underestimating what Ukraine can or cannot do following recent developments. But, the question remains, what will Ukraine and it's NATO backers do next once the Donbass region of Ukraine is assimilated into the Russian federation?

On the contrary, the move is a tried and tested Doctrine. It worked in Chechnya, Crimea, South Ossetia (Georgia) and Aleppo. It was always the endgame for Russia and what Ukraine and the Western governments feared the most.

You are absolutely right. 2millon Russia military reserves are being called upon. This is out of 150millon population. This is what NATO fears most.

Ukraine pushed Russia to this extent. If they had negotiated with Russia early, no one would be talking about referendum or joining Russia. If those regions support to join Russia (which they will) I pity Ukraine if they still believe they would win, even with all western monies and weapons.
How a leader is sacrificing his citizens to fight a war on behalf of foreign powerrs is mysterious.

With a successful referendum, Putin would be trying to draw America and it's allies into a full blown war. Let everything be settled once and for all. Russia has nothing to loose now, the US and co have exhausted all sanctions still no success (Russia is currently the most sanctioned country, but yet still prosperous). The only option now for Washington and Brussels is a full blown war.

Bulgaria is already turning away from the war party, and many more would follow suit if it happened that the referendum were held and they voted to become part of Russia. IF Putin uses nuclear weapons in the war then, he becomes a wanted man. He will be made to pay using any availability means. Nobody wins in a nuclear war. Putin himself knows this and that's why I doubt if he'll use nukes.
