I'm with students on this one. We have lots of graduates that qualified at home and abroad looking for jobs

You cannot pay lecturers peanut while ordinary media personnel to the president is receiving roughly 3m+ monthly. Are you stupid? Or you just want to act foolish in a public forum!!!

You think it's easy to sack all university lecturers at a go? APC government would've done that since without thinking of going to court

And do you think it is all lecturers that's in support of this strike?.

We were expecting the court to have understood that lecturers are on contract of personal service hence, they cannot be compelled to render a service they don't want to render.

Please what does this mean?

A bunch of half-educated fools. Do you reject court judgement by merely declaring it ' unacceptable ' ? You appeal it.. Then blaming government for lack of capacity to handle crisis after those lazy and indolent lecturers of have stayed away from their duty posts shows that you students are enjoying it. You never siddon home tire .

They are not telling FG not to pay ASUU or neither FG forcing not to pay them.

The Court only wants ASUU to call off the strike since some certain demands are met and that's why FG took them to court in the first place.
Re: ASUU: NANS Rejects FG's Black Market Judgement by Jman06(m): 3:29pm On Sep 21, 2022
Some NANS excos must have been bribed by politicians who want to take advantage of this strike. When I saw Sowore on that protest, I knew opposition politicians were about to hijack the protest.
Re: ASUU: NANS Rejects FG's Black Market Judgement by saintade01(m): 3:32pm On Sep 21, 2022
So ASUU is the one behind the NANS protest huh
Re: ASUU: NANS Rejects FG's Black Market Judgement by hotseat: 3:32pm On Sep 21, 2022
I drew our attention sometimes a go to the fact that this failed APC government is merely marking time or, indeed, playing for time.

They simply don't want to accede to the collective agreement it entered into with ASUU.

No serious-minded government would allow its tertiary institutions to lay comatose for over six months and still counting.

Instead of addressing the disputed issues squarely, its now chasing shadows in a kangaroo court!

Bubu and APC, shame no dey una dictionary?

Chai!

contempt of court order attracts fines and jail terms. ASUU shouldn’t copy government in disobeying court orders, it has grievous fines. government can only do it because they are government. is like parable of rat and lizard swimming, rat comes out soaked, lizard comes out dry.

ASUU will regret it.

So they will jail all ASUU members or what?

Assu with University should withdraw the certificate of the judge that gave that judgement and pronouncement if they actually graduated in Nigeria immediately they are the enemies of Nigerian state.

I don't blame either of the parties. Big daddy's daughter-in-law just graduated from the University, obviously not in Niger-area.

There are schools in Europe that you pay less than #1m per year today. Na money they mess man. If not, we would have sent all our children there.

Both ASSU and NANS plus FGN are all playing and double-crossing one another for their pockets. They are a bunch of organised criminals.

Can you imagine see-finish?

It means court can't force them to call of strike undecided I imagine if the court is planning on going to each lecturer's house and drag them to classrooms

Bro, leave them. They are just bluffing. Moreover those NANS excos are already comfortable. They don't represent the larger interest as they don't feel what an ordinary or average students are feeling.

grin Buhari and APC government that don't respect rule of law, expects ASSU to obey a court order...
No government has disrespected the judiciary and court of law, like PMB and APC, so ASSU and NANS can do as they please, they are following the footsteps of this government.

You wrote a nice shot but ended it with a bad choice.

ASUU non de award degrees or certificates as you called it. It is the university that awards it, and those universities, it if government that own them.

If withdrawal of certificates was easy, FG would have first withdrawn that of the striking lecturers that finished from Nigerian schools.
