If you convert this bulk payment to daily payment,it is cheaper compared to what they paid previously.

The challenges with the bulk payment which they are trying to avoid include;
1.The money goes directly to the govt. You cant beat or cheat the system unlike before,were they work before or after task force resume duty or closes.

2.You can't bribe your way Through like before, instead of paying ticket , they just offer tips to the collector.

Also, their argument is when the Keke Is faulty and you spend more days fixing it, unlike before if you don't work, you don't pay.

The essence of this bulk/monthly payment is to avoid people handling cash. All payment is done via govt. account.


Summary, this method is better, and cheaper.
Just pay and nobody disturbs you for the Month.

Monthly payment is definitely better. But you need to make policies flexible so that it is easier to obey it than circumvent it.

The state government must give them an incentive to stick with the monthly payment.

15k monthly comes out at 500 per day. They were conveniently paying 1k daily ticket that wasn't entering Govt coffers. It's a good deal.

Guy have you forgotten that this same Lagos was disputed by Amadu Hello, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Obafemi Awolowo in 1960 and I fact was one of the reasons why Azikiwe refused to join the coalition with AG and went for the NCNC-NPC romance that brought about the coalition regime (1960-66), Azikiwe believed Lagos to be a Federal entity (same as the Sardauna of Sokoto). Nigeria was not running on crude oil in those days so where you got your excerpts from that Lagos was built with oil gains is still a wonder to a common man like me.
