A lot of our secondary school teachers do say "i will discipline you" when u offend them in their own thinking which means "to beat you" is this notion really correct? |

There are different forms of discipline. However, cane should be the last form of it. In fact, if you use it today, you might not want to use it till the rolling month or there about! No matter how you correct some kids, they don't listen until you introduce the use of cane! While some barely needs it. When its needed, don't hesitate to do that cause you spare the cane, you spoil the child My advice to hot tempered people, stay far away from the use of cane! Discipline is meant to correct a child, not kill the child! When you also correct the child, don't forget to draw them closer to you in love that is when the correction will stick and it quenches hatred towards the one who corrects. |

Discipline is generally an attempt to instill some values in someone or something. The measures applicable are in different forms. It doesn't necessarily mean beating although beating is one of such measures. |
