underpinna: Why did he remove secondus when his term hasn't finish? You're talking about fairness here like there is nothing like zoning in the PDP constitution, since it was already going to the South East according to the zoning why did he make sure secondus was removed? He is not the only courageous person in the party, others are courageous too. You can vote for whoever you like,we all have one vote. |

VERDA: I have been following the social and mainstream media inflammatory statements of ethno-religious jingoist for abt 2 decades especially in election seasons since our return to democracy. I could remember when some jingoist used to say power will never return to the North during GEJ's time, some used to say their faith is dominant and have more followers than others because GEJ win 2011 Presidential election after lots of internal crises in PDP because of zoning. Despite all odds, GEJ won more than 2/3 of Northern votes in 2011. However, when GEJ insisted on 2 term after 2011 tussle Northerners formed alliance that brought Buhari. What you failed to understand is, we in APC are solidly behind Tinubu and Northern PDP members still want to zoning agreement respected. APC and PDP are two different parties with different followers in principle and make up and have right to echo their voice on party issues. Back o the issue, many predictions were made about possible crisis in Nigeria after elections but never appeared as predicted by the perpetrators of the crisis. Tinubu will win 2023 Presidential election, we havee the right permutation on ground and will be implemented. Go and hug 500MVA transformer |

ArewaNorth: Predictions were made by the foreign media, Nigerians and some wise leaders saw through it and nipped them, like the one in 2015, where Jonathan had to call Buhari to bring the tension down. Now the anger is within the country and for the first time the young people are truly restive, not just on social media but unlike previous elections where most indifferent and docile, they are very involved both online and on ground. So any attempt to undermine their voice well... As for Tinubu, I don't think he is the most competent among the current lineup, the electorates will determine the winner and not you proclaiming it on nairaland. My vote goes to Obi and if the current momentum of support he is getting continues to increase at the same rate everyday through February, God willing he will win. It is not by making noise and shouting here, a corrupt and murderous individual will not rule this country..keep making noise, you will be shocked soon. You think others can be deceived the same way you have been deceived cos of small change your getting. Shift abeg. |

teeytimi: A bit too late for that my guy Just being honest Neither igbos or yoruba or middle belt or ijaws or whomever else you wanna name can touch power in Nigeria without the blessing of The North. It's a Hausa/Fulani country. The other tribes are mere tenants |
