Conflict is unavoidable in a classroom setting.
However, if unchecked, it can result in violence and blow out of proportion very quickly.

As a teacher, you want to ensure you are fair and not taking any side because the said students would be emotionally charged and looking for you to support their cause.

Here are some helpful strategies that might help Listen to both sides without interference from the other.

Depending on the intensity of the case, ask both parties to cool off in different locations to take the edge off and enhance objectiveness.
