Ghanaians on Wikipedia are bastardizing the history and legacy of Afrobeat pioneer fela kuti on Wikipedia.
Please let's set the records straight and not stay aloof.
First off it was edited to have an expanded version of highlife in it and they are even mentioning names of Ghanaian highlife musician on felas Afrobeat

So there were no traditional Yoruba music that fela could listen to, not even Nigerian music. Fela grew up listening to Highlife, this is ridiculous

Nigerians go on Wikipedia, your history and the history of your children is threatened by bloody Ghanaian revisionist.
They're re-editing the authentic version of Afrobeat to accommodate the Ghanaian revisionist version

Afrobeat is a Nigerian genre and it originated in Nigeria although with inflences from Fuji, juju, highlife, funk, jazz and soul. The over pedastalization of Highlife in its make up is sickening.

Why are they educating us about highlife on afrobeats history, isn't it supposed to be optional to seek such knowledge as a different genre in a different thread?
