Popular Nigerian activist and social critic, Aisha Yesufu, has called Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, to stop addressing and calling his opponents and political detractors his brothers.
She said that other parties candidates are dog eat dogs, and that Obi should not think they see him had brother.

Aisha further told Peter Obi to put aside his gentleman character, his love for humanity until he has won the election.

You know he's a team player. That's one of his greatest flaws; he seldom ruffles feathers. For him to be the governor of Anambra state for two terms without any confrontations with all those Anambra political oligarchs, shows you the kind of person he's. Is he reasonably upright? Yes! Will he work day and night to better Nigeria? Yes! Will he attack all these evil godfathers directly to free the country? No! He has never done stuff like that.

Unfortunately, irrespective of his good heart, he's a product of the system. He prefers to make everyone his friends. On the surface, this looks like a good political habit, but when you look at it critically, you will see all sorts of dangers. Any political office holder who is unwilling to ruffle feathers in other to move the country forward is lacking a great quality of leadership. I just hope he doesn't end up an Azikiwe, Ironsi or Jonathan.

if he starts fighting this godfathers they will kill his ambition just like buhari did when he won the election 99% of his focus was to fight elite forgetting he had dying economy till 8months before he started assembling ministers etc so obi has to be careful on it my own concern now is how his playing the brother package politics which is new in Nigeria
