FG Sarts The Process Of Deregistering ASUU And Recognises CONUA As An Academic Union.

The federal government has begun a graduation procedure for Academic Personal Unionalsities (ASUU).

The government is said to have acknowledged the ASUU's withdrawal faction, the Nigerian University Academic Council (CONUA).

CONUA is another organization of academic organizations that exist in several federal universities, led by NIYI SUNMONU, a domestic coordinator, a lecturer at the Obemia Wolobo (OAU) lecturer at Ile -Ife.

ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022. The union has set the strike indefinitely on September 1, 2022, due to the government's failure to address the issue.

Union campaigns include unblocking university activation funds, renegotiating the 2009 FGN/ASUU agreement, unblocking university lecturer allowances, and the University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS). start etc.
