Tinubu supporters have been everyone spreading pictures and videos from a match for Tinubu in Lagos yesterday and Ibadan today.

For yesterday, it took the governor, wife of the governor, Tinubu’s wife, Tinubu’s daughter who mobilized market women, nollywood actresses, etc, to be able to mobilize a reasonable number of women to stage the March for Tinubu. But even at that, the rally only happened in Lagos Island alone. A far cry from what Peter Obi supporters pulled off even without a single known political heavyweight.

Then today, it is Ibadan. We’ve not heard word because some few hundreds of people came out to rally for Tinubu.

But guess what, these two cities are in Tinubu’s Southwest, his home region and the only place he’s sure of votes if elections were to hold today.

We can liken this to Obi supporters rejoicing that some crowd were forcibly mobilized to rally for him in Anambra or anywhere in Southeast at all. Or Atiku supporters rejoicing because people marched for Atiku in Adamawa.

So, why the rejoicing? Is Southwest the only region that would make Tinubu president or is Tinubu now a regional candidate?

Everyone has seen the multitude that marched for Peter Obi in Edo, Nasarawa, Benue, Plateau, Taraba, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Kaduna, Abuja, etc; states are not in Southeast nor is Peter Obi indigenous to them. That is something worth celebrating. Especially when you factor in the fact that the people who come out for these rallies are not paid shishi.

So, when are Tinubu supporters going to pull off something like what Obi supporters are doing for fun? When are we going to see thousands of people/supporters marching for Tinubu in Edo, Delta, Anambra, Enugu, Plateau, Benue, Kano, Kaduna, Zamfara, etc?

Why would Tinubu supporters be rejoicing that some people came out to March for Tinubu in Lagos (his supposed home state)? Or is that how unpopular Tinubu has become?
