In many developed countries, young lads who wanted to be politicians are given opportunity of mentorship in offices of politicians in western countries. They are given internship as legislative aids etc. Because the young up-coming ones needed experience and skills before assuming those offices after winning election. This is not the case in Nigeria, where the young ones just want to grab leadership positions without any form of mentorship or guidance. This situation is what Tinubu has excelled in, by coaching and mentoring up-coming politicians. Peter Obi has nothing to bequeath to younger politicians. He is not a good leader. I know it is very painful for you to face this reality. But that is the truth.

Next time, when you want to remove the log in other people’s eyes, make sure you have removed yours first.

Obi did not make himself or his wife a senator after his 8 years of leading Anambra state and I'm sure he didn't interfere in the state political activities too.

In all, the most troubling, is the continuous one million man march, being successfully organised, with Obidients turning out in numbers.

They are worried over the rising popularity of the Obidient movement, both online & offline.
Especially the Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
As he continously draws the international community's attention, to his direction. which may hinder their rigging plans.
It was unanimously agreed that financial inducements (vote buying) will not work, come 2023. As a huge chunk of the 70% of Nigeria's voting population who are mostly youths, are not ready to sell their votes come 2023, based on the new orientation of the Obidient movement.

They are also afraid that the use of violence/Thuggery, may backfire. As the Obidient movement has it's own numbers, that can resist any form of thuggery or violence, sighting examples from the number of turnouts, of their rallies. That could lead to post election national crisis, since vote buying will not work, financial inducement of key Obidient crusaders didn't work, propaganda didn't work, fake news didn't work.

They agreed to use ETHNIC (Igbo) LINKS OF PETER OBI, & HIS OBIDIENT MOVEMENT TO IPOB, SO SECURITY AGENTS CAN GO AFTER HIS KEY FIGURES.
The plan, is to use prominent persons in the society, via electronic, print and social media, to henceforth intensify false accusations of the Obidient movement links with IPOB, and Peter Obi as an IPOB member/ sponsor. They will keep pushing it, until the govt comes in.
Meanwhile, while that is on, they will threaten the lives of Key Obidient figures on social media, who are known, who reside in Nigeria, work or do business in Nigeria. They will go after their family members, threaten them until they backoff from the movement. Threats in all ramifications, including sudden disappearance of key Obidient figures/arrow heads. Their businesses will be threatened, their jobs will be threatened.

That a list is being compiled, after which actions will commence.
They are hoping to use security agents as well.
DSS & the police will go after key Obidient movement figures, linking them with ties to IPOB, on trump up charges, without proof.
Many will be arrested, on terrorism grounds, even without evidence.
Once the information goes round, other key figures will backoff or go into hiding.
They will use EFCC, to go after fund raisers and donors, to the Obidient movement, in the guise of going after terror financing.

A lot of persons will be arrested by the anti graft agency, based on links with IPOB, on terror financing charges.
They want to model, the #EndSARS pattern, by using security agents to silence a legitimate movement of mostly youths, clamoring to take back their country.

I've lived in the UK most of my life and that is a proper country where even their lunatics probably reason better than Nigerian Professors. I am sure it's the same for USA, Germany and even South-Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana etal.

Citizens of those countries would simply look at the histories and achievements of all candidates to quickly dismiss Atku and Obi.

They can draw up an algorithm table for quick reference and decision making.
Names of candidates at the top. To the side would be considerations they'd be graded on.

Like human capacity building. Democratic credentials, innovations in leadership. Efficacy in leadership, solutions provision ability. Team building, succesful economic policies. Development of enduring and succesful institution, policy and political reforms etc, etc, etc.

Tinubu will consistently get 8 marks or more out of ten whereas Atiku only deserves 0 out of ten in every category because of his zero history of leading anything or anyone, since he prefers to live in Dubai than with Nigerians, and Obi would score 1 or 2 in most categories based on his mediocre history and very disappointing achievements as a leader.

It would be as simple as that for citizens of nations where thinking is on a more sophisticated and analytical level.

This is why it is a burden in Nigeria to be exposed, cerebral and to understand the rudiments of thinking for success. You'd find yourself isolated amongst your fellow Nigerians as would not be the case in other nations.

This is why, for example, Tinubu has by far the highest number of educated, successful, exposed and analytically brilliant Nigerians behind him most others like to dismiss as "paid".

Whereas Obi has thugs, illiterates and ignorant "change" folks in his camp and Atiku has mainly unexposed and 'Stockholm syndrome' Northerners/Fulani supremacists and Southern political jobbers supporting him.

Those who know the problems of Nigeria and understand the solutions required will be solididly behind Tinubu. Especially if they too have had to be innovative and brilliant to thrive in competitive environments.
