Anyone that is not pleased with APC selecting the presidential candidate should be suspended so he can contest in a party that conform with his ideology.

Normally, I would have expected the Senator to have decamped on his own will. No mole should be allowed within the party.

Over 1500 delegates came together to choose the presidential candidate of APC, you should have respected their decision or decamp from the party rather than going on live TV to condemn your party, swear you won't support the candidate, then still thinking you should be allowed to remain in the party.

Next should be Dogara and Babachir Lawal. You either have 100% loyalty or you leave!

The party has both two strong Religions there, and the decision to chose one Religion for both Presidential and Vice was not done by the two parties but one party feeling superior.....

You can condemn the party. But if after your condemnation, the party fail to change, the best thing you can do is to leave the party.

You cannot condemn your party, openly say you will work against their presidential candidate, and expect them to allow you to remain.

If not that Wike is very strong, they would have expelled him from PDP based on how he’s behaving against Atiku too.

Yes, expel the Christians and craft the APC into a religiously polarised political party aka, an islamic party of sorts.
This is the lot of the black man. He loves feudalism and pretends that autocracy and democracy walk in step.
He cannot tolerate opposing views, aspirations and competition and so threatens every contrary concern.
The black man simply cannot build viable, diverse and prosperous societies.

In Britain we have seen vociferous intra party advocacy that has led to change of Prime Ministers, in the US Democrats have openly opposed Biden on various issues as regards policy, the economy, the environment, foreign policy, etc. His predecessor, Donald Trump time in office was even more tempestuous.

Right here in Nigeria the opposition PDP has faced similar internal rumpus, far more serious schisms and what can be perceived to be graver anti-party activities but we are yet to hear of expulsions and dismissals because it is widely recognized that the issues in dispute are germane and authentic and so cannot be waved off and the advocates crushed.

The question then is; are the issues in popular discourse about the APC's Presidential bid equally germane and authentic. Yes.
Because of the present state of Nigeria and the way it has been governed and misgoverned over the past few years and the effects on the psyche of the average Nigerian who sadly has been polarised along ethno-religious lines leading to huge insecurity challenges we are all too familiar with.

We always say democracy is the best form of government because of the capacity of dialogue in conflict resolution. But when dialogue breaks down, conflict takes centre stage and the system is threatened. If the APC cannot dialogue with its constituents there is little chance the ethno-religious challenges facing the greater Nigeria will be contained and possibly reduced going forwards and it is worthy of note for those intending to do business in and with Nigeria post 2023. Risk management will have to be a priority.
